About 2 months ago I told you daddy cheer up cause God is on our side and his faith will lead us to your progress. You told me no Chula I look horrible I can't even recognize myself in the mirror. Holding back my tears with a big smile I gave you a hug and a big kiss and helped you shave. I asked to take a picture of us so that all our family and friends can see that cancer was not going to win this one, that you were strong that you had faith and hope, that you were with God. You cried and cried I dried your tears with a smile while holding back my own. Everyday I was strong and hopeful for YOU. Bad news after bad news I NEVER broke a tear in your presence. I wanted to be strong and there for you as you had always been for me. You were my rock and it was my turn to be yours. Hours and hours in the hospital you and I alone and the time was not enough for me to tell you how much I loved you and appreciated everything you did for me. The sleepless nights you had when I had nightmares. The times you went to school to defend me from classmates and teachers. You were always there for me. I tried to be there for you. But I feel like I failed you. I want you to know Papi that I tried my best. To help you to find remedies and the best doctors for you. I love you more than you could ever know and I miss you even more than that. 2 moths without you have been the worst in my life. I hope God can help me find peace with your departure soon because part of my heart was yanked out of my chest and I can never get it back. 💞 Rest in peace my beautiful daddy.
