People in professions that demand standing for long hours have to bear sustained discomfort. Fatigue, inflammation, skeletal misalignment and wearing off of joints are common issues with people in standing jobs.
These three super tips will help in reducing the discomfort that arises from working in jobs that demand standing for long hours.
Invest in comfortable and sturdy shoes. Be aware that you stand with body weight equally balanced on the feet. People tend to either shift the body weight towards heel or towards toes or towards left leg or towards right leg. Standing in this manner wears down the soles at a place of dominant weight. This further creates imbalance in musculoskeletal system resulting in aches, inflammation and fatigue in the body.
Massage Castor oil on your legs, knees, ankles and under the feet before retiring to bed.  Castor oil is thick in consistency and the massage may take over 30 minutes to complete. Wear a full length pant and use heavy over sheet over your legs before you go to sleep. Castor oil will relieve you of fatigue, pain, inflammation and weakness in the limbs. You can do this massage every alternate day.

Running is one of the best exercises for building endurance. However, you should know these five facts before incorporating running in your fitness regime.
Running is a great exercise for people living in countries with cold climate. The people living in Europe, North America or other regions with cold climate have a predominant Kapha (Earth + Water) elemental body. Running helps in balancing Kapha. Running thus helps in burning calories, improving endurance and reducing sluggishness in the body. Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, American Football, Ice Hockey and other athletic games are well suited for people living in cold climate. On the contrary, Running is really bad for people living in countries with hot climate. The people living in South Asia, Middle East, Africa and other regions with hot and humid climate have a predominant Vata (Wind + Space) elemental body. Running aggravates the Vata which can be dangerous for functioning of key joints like knees and ankles. People in countries with hot climate should resort to moderate to brisk walking. Running can wear down their knees and other joint in just few years. They should adopt sports which demand less of athletic running.
Runners need special nutrition to enhance performance and expedite healing. Receding Gums is a common dental condition in adults. The recession of tissues that surround the gums exposes root of the tooth. This can lead to weakening, decay and loss of tooth.

Receding Gums can be arrested with a technique called as Oil Pulling. To do Oil Pulling you have to take a teaspoon of cold pressed virgin Sesame or Coconut oil and swish it inside the mouth for 5 to 10 minutes every morning. The oil mixes with saliva and pulls out impurities in oral and nasal cavity. The liquid becomes thin and white after 5 minutes of vigorous swishing inside the mouth. You have to spit the liquid out. After spitting the liquid, rinse your mouth thoroughly and brush your teeth with regular toothpaste and toothbrush. Oil Pulling strengthens the gums. You will feel the difference from the day one. Sun is the source of our existence. Human behavior, emotions and longevity are governed by energy obtained from the Sun. In 1922, a young Belarusian scientist, Alexander Chizhevsky established correlation between the eleven year solar cycle and human behavior. The geomagnetic storms on the surface of sun during the period of appearance of maximum sunspots affect excitability in humans. The ionization of earth atmosphere due to these storms strongly affects human behavior. He proposed that 75% of important historical events including wars, revolutions, mass extinctions, riots and political turmoil occurred during the period of solar maximum. Chizhevsky examined records of unrest and upheaval and compared them with sunspot activity of last two thousand years in seventy one countries. Chizhevsky spent most part of his life in exile under communist regime of Stalin in erstwhile Soviet Union. Chizhevsky refused to retract on his findings which were in opposition to communist philosophy.
The Russian Revolution, the rise of Ayatollah in Iran, the Arab Spring and many such revolutions bear dates that coincide with release of solar flares from the surface of the Sun

HOW MOON AFFECTS HUMAN BODY

I was standing on a beach observing every wave approaching my feet. The agitated water trying to move closer to the shore was making subtle impressions on my mind. The moonlit sky and the breeze were calming. I knew the workings of heavenly bodies on living beings and specifically moon that governs our mind. The word lunatic derived from the word lunar clearly establish the relation between moon and the mind.
Human body is composed of fluids. The blood, the protective fluids around vital organs, the hormones and the enzymes are affected by gravitational pull of the moon in the same way as water in the ocean. The fluids experience the tides similar to spring, neap, high and low tides on surface of an ocean.
Moon affects us in following ways
Moon is responsible for variability in energy level, emotional state and intellectual level as moon wax and wanes during 29 day lunar cycle.
The new moon day and full moon day and a day before and after these days have a significant impact on individual health. The seventh and eighth day after new and full moon day also impact fluid balance in our body.
As a personal observation, I have seen severely ailing people passing away around full moon or new moon day.
Ancient civilizations ​followed lunar calendar considering the effect of each phase on human body. Rituals were developed to align human activity with each phase. However, these rituals vanished as humans progressed into modern age. The modern age psychological problems are due to poor synchronization of our bodily vibrations with nature and planetary bodies like moon.
The following practices and precautions benefit our health on important lunar days
It is advisable to avoid workout on full moon and new moon day. The body is susceptible to injuries and cramps because of fluid imbalance.
Eat a low calorie vegan diet on full moon and new moon day. This will prevent indigestion, fluid retention, bloating and other forms of digestive impairment. Observe absolute fast during lunar eclipse.
Avoid arguments and verbal spats around full moon and new moon day. The emotional instability during these days can cause a lot of heartburn and anger.
Spend time in the open. Be out at night with minimal clothing and feel the cool light of moon on a full moon day.
Meditate and pray on a full moon day and new moon day.
Try to use pure silver glass for drinking water. Metals like silver have correlation with moon. Silver induce positive vibrations in water.
Purchase a lunar calendar and practice moderation in your lifestyle on fourth, eighth, eleventh and fourteenth day in a lunar cycle. A lunar cycle is movement of moon from new moon to full moon and vice versa in a 29.5 day lunar month.

You may have read many articles on slow and mindful eating. You are also aware of benefits of slow and mindful eating and I am sure you have tried mindful eating for few meals; however practice wanes as time wanes. This has happened with me several times until I discovered a practical way that I seem to be sticking for over a month. The technique is to bring your visual attention to the color and form of the food. I notice the color and shape of every morsel with intensity. The intensity sometimes reaches an orgasmic level as I am practicing it day after day. You can try it in the very minute. Notice the red color of an apple with intensity. Then bite a small part savoring the juiciness and sweetness of the fruit. Similarly, you can enjoy your drink by noticing the color and then sipping a small amount, swirling it with saliva in mouth and gulping it slowly down the throat.
There are many benefits of slow and mindful eating but here are five key benefits.
Mindful eating slows down the ingestion process. This happens because of prolonged chewing.
The properly chewed food ingested with saliva is great for digestive health.
The properly chewed food helps in better absorption of nutrients. The soil is denatured due to excessive cultivation of food crops. The nutrients available in our food is low compared to food grown a few decades ago. The only way to absorb nutrients is to chew properly.
Mindful and slow eating gives early fulfillment thus making you eat less. It is one of the best ways to lose excessive weight.
 Mindful eating develops awareness about the food. There is a chance that you may shun unhealthy food in a period of time.
