the way i was right about this
It really sucks. I knew bellamy was going to die but not like that. I didn't watch the entire season but once i heard he was brainwashed, I had a bad feeling. Still this is worse than i expected. Clarke is the worst person to kill Bellamy, not because they have a strong relationship but because Clarke will never face consequence for this. No one will mourn Bellamy, no one will avenge him

Why in the world did we all accept this lie that Echo is stoic and hides her emotions? I know I’ve written that into stuff too, but honestly it’s not really true. Echo isn’t very open with expressing her emotions, but she is not all that hard to read. When she’s scared, she’s pretty openly scared. When she thought she killed Octavia, she looked distraught.
You know what, no wonder Tasya was thrown by Jason telling her not to cry when Spacekru finds out about Monty and Harper. Echo would ABSOLUTELY cry. She might not want to talk about it, but Echo is very expressive.
Stoic/hard-to-read Echo is out. It’s not canon and I’m rejecting it.

i know — i know — that murphy yelling “have we learned nothing?!” is him acting as daniel prime or a prime in general to get the sanctum ppl to stand down. i know.
but
but can you just imagine
if clarke is trying her whole “i’m in charge” thing on the sanctum people and murphy just storms out screaming “have we learned nothing?! you’ve destroyed every civilization you’ve come in contact with. you are not in charge here” and the sanctum people follow him bc he’s their prime.
CAN YOU IMAGINE MURPHY TAKING THE POWER AWAY FROM CLARKE LIKE THAT
OHHH MY GOD I CANT I WOULD KILL FOR THAT TO HAPPEN

There really is nothing we can do as fans now that the sequel trilogy is over. I’m talking about fan works. There’s so much to explore in the prequel trilogy because the characters had arcs, conflict and they made mistakes. The original trilogy had an open ending where there was a lot of possibility and the scope of the franchise got expanded by the prequels. We don’t have any of that in the sequels? The conflict has no angst because ‘war is fun’ or ‘we ignore the only character who has been affected by it because he’s black. The characters don’t change or they change for the worse. The secondary characters are so one dimensional and boring. The movies barely visited new worlds or stayed long enough for us to care. We have Tatooine from the OG trilogy and Naboo from the prequels, the sequels have no planet of significance.
I’m so annoyed by this. At the very least they could have given us enough so we can close the gaps on our own. No wonder all we do is have boring ship wars.

I’m sorry but Poe got two TRoS books, two comic runs, and more screen time than Finn in tros I’m genuinely violent
I’m so sick to death of Poe Dameron and I won’t get over the awful taste in my mouth until I’ve actually been giving time away from Disney and fandom kissing the ground he walks on. Of maybe if they just gave Finn some content as well but everyone acts like giving Finn the chance to be developed it’ll open the seventh seal.
The amount of antiblackness it takes to re-re-retell the story of a pilot and avoid the before, during, or after of the life of a force sensitive former stormtrooper who facilitated the events that lead to the end of the first order and sheev Palpatine is so staggering. I truly can’t take it.

my theory is that they don't want to give finn any more background story if they can avoid it, because him hanging out with other stormtroopers as a kid would be an unfortunate reminder that stormtroopers are humans and the movies just kind of forgot about that
This ask is just reminding me that for four years Finn fans were left to theorize about Finn’s past and where he comes from because disney and lucasfilm were so loudly silent about anything regarding him. And on the one hand we realized just how many life stories he could have had and how meaningful those stories could be, and I love that we could write those stories for each other and let that deepen our love for Finn in a plethora of ways, but on the other it infuriates me bc we should have to make theories to excuse why Finn is excluded from the content of the war even tho he was LITERALLY the closest to the war out of any character in the trilogy.
