It will! I promise it will. I just have very bad ADHD and I’m having a hard time focusing on it. I will come back to it though. Just be patient with me.

Another chapter...Alfe & Uhte finally get a moment...a brief moment, but hey. They'll take what they can get?

That absolutely astonishing and amazing moment, when you open your email expecting absolutely nothing (except spam maybe) and you see a new comment on your fic. You open it eagerly, now expecting a few words or maybe an emoji, but you get a GODDAMN LOVE LETTER. A novel length goddamn love letter...

And so the final fic in the series begins. I have no idea how many chapters it will be. I have a vague idea of the plot/form of it...we'll see how we get there :D

A new chapter of Nascent Kingdom is imminent...

Like, I've got maybe 500-800 more words to write and one read-through to do. Maybe a day? maybe 2 days? Definitely by Sunday.

I just finished season 5 of The Last Kingdom. I am here literally crying about how much I love Alfred. I loved that he was in the final montage of Uhtred weeping over his lost loves and family. I loved that I got to see him again, even if it was old footage. I loved that Uhtred was thinking about, missing him.

I just...I fucking love him so much. Why is this my life? Why am I standing in my kitchen tearing up over a fucking Saxon King who died like 1200 years ago??? WHY DO I LOVE HIM SO MUCH???
