I actually thought that the fic would be 30k words at most. The fact that it’s almost 35k now with no end in sight is kinda intimidating ngl. Instead of finishing my WIPs, I’m writing an IronStrange AU where Stephen ends up learning magic by trial and error on Everest because he never manages to open a portal back into Kamar-Taj, and accidentally walks into Tony’s dreams for the duration of Civil War. I’m 2.3K words in and have only finished writing their first meeting. The end is nowhere in sight. OTL
