Stella fairy of the sun and moon!

Stella is so iconic and today, on her birthday, I thought it only made sense to celebrate her. Stella is a beacon of light among the group. I miss how much of a role her sceptre played in the first season and knew I had to include it.

Starting off this Winx week with Musa! She was my first winx doll when I was a kid and I loved her so much. From her wedges to the iconic hair style Musa has such a fun design.

Feels Like Magic: Winx Rewrite

Fairy Titles and How Common They Are

Titles come when a fairy (or witch or wizard) ends school. Specifically, what we consider middle school as that is when they begin their magical education. Once they graduate middle school, they receive their title and said title is given by a book that every school and workplace have. They all self update via Magic itself. Think of the registration book from Harry Potter that notifies the school of their students.

Once they begin what we consider high school, the title can sometimes, more often than not, update. If a title updates, it is seen as an accomplishment, and a ceremony is held at the end of every year to read off the updated titles.

Bloom's title is one that updated so rapidly that it's basically its own world record.

Bloom:

Fairy of Fire - This is during the first season before she found out she was the High Princess of Domino. This title is very common amongst fairies as it is very broad. Every fairy starts off with a common title until they show a mastery over something more specific. Examples being: Fairy of Flames, Fairy of Heat, Fairy of Explosions, Fairy of Lava, etc.

Fairy of the Dragon Flame - is when she does find out who she is and just how powerful she really is. Basically, her finding out who she truly is unlocked her true title.

Stella:

Fairy of Light - Sooooo very common. More common than Fairies of Fire. This is when she graduated middle school, and yeah, it wasn't really a surprise to anyone. There were bets about what her updated title would be as people were very certain she would get an upgraded one. Like, I mean, her entire kingdom was betting.

Fairy of the Sun & Moon - Upgraded after her first failed year at Alfea. Funny enough, the Book of Titles updated itself after she had already been expelled from blowing up the potions lab. Thus, she was invited to the Titles Ceremony at the end of the year. That's when her dad basically bribed Faragonda into letting Stella repeat the year with a big donation. Also, the fact she has a dual title is rare.

Flora:

Fairy of Nature - Now this one is an odd title as it is common to a point. Every fairy that receives the title Fairy of Nature always updates to a new title. Every. Single. One. They all always find their specific power, like Fairy of Sping, Fairy of Growth, Fairy of Pollen, Fairy of Flowers, etc. But not Flora. Which is what makes her very unique.

Fairy of Nature - Her title never updated, which is very unique. Her keeping the broad title means she is very powerful as she can control ALL nature. Her brothers are also like this with their own titles as both are magical as well. (Fairy of Animals - goes to her brother Faun, Fungi Wizard - goes to her brother Guy.)

Musa:

Fairy of Music - Another common one. Very common. Musa was actually scared when she came to Alfea as she loved being Broad Titled as she felt it fit her very well. She loves all music, so the possibility of updating scared her.

Fairy of Music & Dance - very rare that she kept the Broad Title but also upgraded to a dual title. Once she found out her title update, she was no longer scared, nor was she upset about it.

Tecna:

Fairy of Technology - Common! Though only common in the sense that everyone who ends up with techno-magic gets this title. The Tecno-magic community is small, though. Mainly because technology itself isn't that old yet, so it's classified as New Magic.

Fairy of Technology & Energy - Yes! She holds a dual title, which again is rare! This is celebrated in her home kingdom, considering her unique condition.

Bonus:

I know I said I'd give this information later with all the other season 2 info, but it felt wrong not to include Aisha.

Aisha:

Fairy of Fluids - Common! Much like Fairies of Nature. And also, like Nature, the Fairies of Fluids all upgrade titles. Examples being: Fairy of Water, Fairy of Dew, Fairy of Waves, etc.

Fairy of Fluids - And SURPRISE! She is also much like Flora in that she retains the Broad Title, thus making it a rare title. She can control all fluids. ALL.

To the other fairies I want to give them a little trait that put them apart from the humans, in Stella case are the ears.

Bloom Fairy of the Dragon Flame!

The fairy that started it all! Last in the lineup is the fiery red headed Bloom. I always loved how her red hair complimented her blue transformation, it’s the perfect blend of complimentary colours!
