Burning the candle at both ends was definitely not good for her mental health, but Fiona was juggling about fifty things at once -- or so it seemed. School, work, and student council duties on top of her family’s legal trouble were just adding to the girl’s stress levels. She was glad that her S.O.S. call was answered by Imogen, who offered -- no, insisted upon coming over. “Hey,” she greeted, giving the girl a peck on the cheek as she let her into the loft. “I didn’t mean to worry you, I think I just need to relax.” Fiona holds out a hand to help Imogen carry in the bags of provisions she brought.

[open starter: fiona is new to town & your muses school, her family is holding a welcoming party for themselves in their penthouse.}

a penthouse filled with mingling socialites, a delicate hand expertly reaches for a champagne flute on a passing silver tray. she watches as across the room her brother stands flirting with a group of girls, rolling her eyes she’s just about the raise the glass to her lips as it’s suddenly snatched away leaving her hand hanging empty in mid-air. “fiona, let’s be on our best behavior, tonight.” her mother’s voice sternly warns. “why don’t you try getting to know some of your new classmates?” she suggests, and as fiona is about to protest, she notices the soft concern her mother’s eyes. sighing, she nods; “I’ll try, mom.” her mother gives her a comforting pat on the shoulder and a small, reassuring smile before walking away with the champagne flute still in hand.

her eyes gaze around the room, trying to find someone to talk to. she could attempt to infiltrate declan’s little harem but, she would rather not be known as her brother’s freaky twin this go around. approaching someone that’s more off on their own, she greets; “hi, I’m fiona. thank you for coming to our little soirée. I hope you’re enjoying yourself.”

 i’m glad to hear from someone i may have rped with in the past!! may I ask who this is, though? but, yeah, i’ve been sort of around again for the last year and have been in a few groups but want to do more indie stuff again.
