I wont lie, i also just want to bring this back to its roots as a comic-style askblog, but without the motivation-destroying task of hand-drawing each panel

so im sort of starting to warm up to the idea of making this into a spritecomic?

it would require a lot of work, and would massively delay any of the plans i had prior, but i think it would be very cool

I HAVE FINALLY RECIEVED WORD FROM THE CAPITOL, ASGORE HAS APPROVED MY PROPOSAL, AND WE ARE TO BEGIN INVESTIGATING THE PHENOMENON WE RECENTLY ENCOUNTERED IN THE LANTERN CRYSTAL CAVES.

LAST MONTH, WHILE GATHERING SAMPLES OF SAID CRYSTALS FOR AN UNRELATED PROJECT, DOCTOR PERTLIN ENCOUNTERED AN UNUSUAL SAMPLE, NOT QUITE PRESENT IN LITERAL SPACE, YET VERY REAL AT THE SAME TIME, A MOST PONDEROUS DISCOVERY, ONE WITH INCREDIBLE IMPLICATIONS.

I BELIEVE THIS DISCOVERY WILL LEAD TO MANY GREAT THINGS.

Do you like theories even if they sound ridiculous? Like, I know l it doesn’t matter what the sun looks like up close but people still spend their whole lives trying to figure it out. Is that your kind of science? Or are you more down to earth? Both figuratively and literally.

Gaster: My work is usually highly theoretical and not often particularly "grounded", but so is all science at one point or another.

Though i do stray into practical physics from time to time.

sooooo whats your plan with the core

Gaster: Plan? Construction is already basically complete, of course there's still the safety checks, but i would be very surprised if we fail those, the CORE is already operating at approximately 70% capacity, there is nonfurther plan, it powers the underground as it was designed to.

So you’re a doctor but what kind of doctor? Did you just go through 7years of college or an actual doctor

Gaster: Well, the academic title of Doctor actually came before the medical title, so i would say that calling people with doctorates "not real doctors" is a bit disingenuous, both kinds of doctor are just as real as eachother.

But to actually answer your question, my doctorate is not in medicine.

Hello h3llo! Have you, Dr. Gaster, seen any humans? If so, how were they?

Gaster: Humans? I haven't personally seen any since the end of the war, however, i am rather concerned about the fact that all 3 of the humans who have fallen into the underground thus far have been children.

Gaster: Is it a coincidence? Intentional? That i do not know, but i do wonder what could possibly be the cause of such a pattern.

Gaster: Lawful Good.

(My Gaster is a Lawful character, but what morality alignment he is is fairly open to interpertation, there is not really such thing as objective morality after all)
