I think I am officially Fandom Old. I am so worn out from the arguments on who's the top or the bottom (who cares), what is allowed to be written (anything you want, bejeebus), what is Problematic (I know, just tag it), what other people Should Do (they Should live their lives free of judgment). There isn't a Right Way to do things. Tag your stuff appropriately, don't read stuff you don't want to read, and leave other people (me) alone.

Ok so, Hermione Granger’s cat, Crookshanks, is ginger, right? Ron Weasley is also a ginger. Hermione is notorious for getting deeply absorbed in her reading. Crookshanks is notorious for roaming around Hermione, especially while she’s reading. Hermione most likely always curls up with a book and Crookshanks, absentmindedly petting him. Right? RiGhT??

Well, all of these facts combined lead me to the inevitable conclusion that at some point Hermione Jean Granger, while reading, automatically reached out to pet the soft, ginger thing near her and ended up softly stroking Ron Weasley’s hair for a very extended period of time before she noticed and probably absolutely freaked out. (also, Ron definitely either fell asleep or completely frOze from an excess of emotions and just stared at her until she finally noticed him)

One thing I love about Leverage is the way Sophie isn't sexualized in the way Conwomen so often are. Sure she flirts with marks, but she doesn't con them by wearing low cut shirts and short short skirts, she doesn't "seduce" them to get the job done, at least not in that way. She isn't this femme Fatale character that flirts her way to where she needs to be, she just cons them without using her "feminine wiles".

It's just extremely satisfying to watch this character archetype without the whole "this woman makes you fall in love with her so she can trick you" thing.
