Sooo idk if this is a normal neurodivergent thing (I’m ADHD/hopefully getting tested for autism soon) but apparently I can like…go back to past stims? If that makes sense? Aside from the usual fidgeting with my jeans-

Like last year or something my niece was at my house and I’m like “look at this new thing I do” (waving my hand at the window while eating) and she’s like “oh no you’ve done that before” and I’m like “???”

My current stim I do while I’m eating is wandering around the kitchen. Sometimes I’ll just wander around the kitchen in the same spot (like walk around in a small circle) if I’m not eating food, or when I am eating food.

I don’t do it as often as the hand waving thing (that was daily) but it’s often enough that I’ve noticed it being a pattern.

…So ig it’s more like cycling through stims? Is this an actual thing or???
