i’ve always had this idea that the fatui have “spark soldiers” which are foot soldiers who don’t have much potential, (either too old or too young or another reason) and they get put in dangerous positions in tactical missions, they’re expendable and not expected to survive (they’re the boiling oil) (they do their job and are extinguished quickly, like sparks) and maybe childe was one but he just kept surviving (or maybe not, that’s just a bonus thought)

and tagging on to that i have the idea of childe meeting klee and hearing that she’s a spark knight and he assumes it’s the same thing and he’s horrified and perhaps hijinks ensue

Imagine you’ve just taken an overnight train with your uncle and you hooked up with some guy on the train and ditched him the next day, only to have him show up at your job a couple days later. You think he’s going to try to get you back, right? Wrong. He’s there to accuse you and your uncle of being mafia bosses or something and the craziest thing is that you are. So the two of you fucking throw hands in the Waffle House.

Anyway, that’s probably how Zuko felt when Jet confronted him in the tea shop.

popping up again after way too long to say that in the Carry On series, words being “Said and Read and Written” often to give them magic implies that the harry potter spells (at least the most popular ones) would work.

At the height of its popularity, most of the spells probably worked in some form, but even now i’m so sure ‘Wingardium Leviosa’ would work. Everyone’s favourite spells would probably work, and as i’m typing this i’ve come to the realisation that ‘Expecto Patronum’ would also definitely work. That deserves a follow-up post of its own.
