Okay okay okay fam...I just finished Chain of Gold

I am so uber excited and want to share new ideas and theories with you guys but, I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll be tagging posts with a spoiler tag. I'll wait at least 48 hours though :)

Cassie loves serving us cliff-hangers, so I have a theory or a prediction that Chain of Gold will end with the Jordelia wedding and then one of three things:

1) Either Cordelia will realize James is in love with Grace, if she hasn't already at this point. I don't think she is that dense

2) Cordelia will see James with Grace in maybe an intimate moment, after he promised loyalty to Cordelia

3) Or just in general James will have a secret rendezvous with Grace post-wedding

In any case, my girl Cordelia is getting her heart broken and I am not ready for it #jordeliaforlife

A lot of things! I'm excited to read about Thomas' and Alastairs' story, even if they don't end up together. Also, I'm actually really excited to see Gabriel/Cecily and Sophie/Gideon as parents. And then I kind of want a glimpse into the next generation in the final epilogue. It probably sounds terrible but, rn at least, I'm not too interested in Jesse or Grace but mainly because I don't know enough about them

I'm getting serious anxiety as the release date for Chain of Gold draws nearer.

Ever since I saw the supposed family tree in Clockwork Princess, I have wanted to read James and Cordelia's love story. It's been years. No one was more sad than I was when I found out Cassie wouldn't be alternating release dates between TDA and TLH.

I have said before I am a hardcore Jordelia fan and, I'm not rooting against Grace, I just don't want her to end up with James.

I will honestly be depressed if Jordelia isn't endgame by the end of TLH.

Theory #7 (unpopular opinion)

So we know there will be a love triangle with two girls and one guy in The Last Hours...

I'm thinking (and hoping) it might be less obvious than the relationship amongst Cordelia, James, and Grace.

How interesting would it be if the love triangle consisted of individuals we haven't even considered...say like Barbara, Eugenia, and Oliver.

I think it is no coincidence Cassie posted their flower cards together.

Moreover, I think their flower cards may relate to one another. For example, Oliver's "honesty" may play upon Eugenia's "wit." While Barbara's "misery" may be related to losing either Oliver or Eugenia in the physical sense (death) and/or emotional sense (love triangle, complex relationship), or losing herself as a consequence.
