I remember first meeting R in high school.

They just moved from a small town of roughly 5k people to a city and knew no one, so I decided to be friendly and introduce myself. They were shy at first but eventually warmed up to me and the people I knew, coming out of their shell a bit.

We stayed friends for a while and we talked about everything, our interests, our dislikes, our music tastes, and they were my best friend. Listening to each other in times of need and celebrating in times of happiness. Growing together and changing as people but still being with each other through thick and thin, even as friends.

It made me realize that I wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else other than my best friend. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I moved from my very tiny hometown to a much bigger town in my 10th grade. T was actually the first person to talk to me! I knew absolutely no one there. Eventually i gained more friends, but there was just something about T I didn't want to let him go. I think it was mid 10th grade that i realized I had feelings for him, but he was with someone at the time! :C

It actually wasn't until two years later, our senior year (12th grade), that we both confessed we liked each other and ever since we've been together! August will be our 6 year anniversary! (I'm hoping by next year's anniversary we'll be married!)
