Hey everyone!

So the acceptances are pouring in—we have a few more to make graphics for and announce.  First of all, to those that made it in, congratulations!  We’re excited to have you with us!  But you know that and we’ll be making a lot of posts to do with you guys.  This post, however, goes out to those who didn’t get in.

Unfortunately, while a lot of positive reception and buzz generating around the group is a great thing,  it also meant that we received several applications for some of the more popular characters.  Many of them blew us away with the effort that clearly went into them—however, after much deliberation, we did have to choose one.  Saying that makes me feel like Tyra on ANTM.  ( Also, yes, we did discuss doing doubles because many applications were that good but, sadly, that doesn’t make much sense for us and will detract from the structure of the roleplay here. )

Scott and I genuinely feel terrible for having to turn away all of you skilled writers, especially because we can see how much work you put into your blogs and how you connect with your muses.  Please, please don’t take this as a critique to your writing or how you portray your character because I guarantee you it’s not—chances are we loved your application.  Honestly, sometimes it did come down to splitting hairs.  So don’t feel bad if you weren’t accepted—and thank you so much for even applying in the first place!  

We’re so humbled and grateful you wanted to be a part of this group and, hopefully, we can still rp outside of the group because all of you are seriously amazing!  Once again, so many apologies!

Just wondering, but after this deadline, is there any other time to apply or is the group just closing after this?

As much as we’d like to confirm that we’ll reopen applications sometime in the future — it’s highly unlikely. If we really need more characters in the group, we’ll consider it. Otherwise, it’ll just be too hard to do. Bringing in some characters later on might be necessary, but keeping people up to date with all the happenings in the group is going to be a pain if we continually open and close applications. If everyone starts off from the same point, it’s going to make everything move a lot smoother. We're not aiming to throw new people 'in medias res'.

Hey there!

First of all, thank you to everyone who applied!  Scott and I are so happy to see so many people interested in being a part of this.  While it has been amazing an humbling watching all of the applications pouring in, the application period is now over ! Scott and I will deliberate and post the who to follow list sometime today / tomorrow and the first event will go up on January 1st--when this RPG officially opens! /throws confetti

While the application deadline has been reached, we are willing to allow applications for a few more days for the following unapplied for characters:

If you are interested, it would be helpful if you could apply as soon as possible!  ( However, your official extended deadline is January 4th. )  As always, message us here or on our character blogs if you have any questions!
