anyway the reason i’ve never really been involved in posting/talking about villa on social media, despite being a fan for over 13 years is that i spent my formative years feeling like i was intruding on everyone and everything (thank you autism) and as much as i want to pretend that it doesn’t affect me anymore it does, and i’ve seen enough football and especially premier league fan content to know that i’d be looked at as an interloper by a lot of people and i’d rather just not have to deal with that. am i potentially missing out on some friends? maybe. but that’s been my entire life so far.
