now im obviously not going to call lord huron underrated because theyre really popular (and rightfully so!!) but i kind of wish they were talked about more. cause like in a current cultural moment in music where so many artists are complimented for being great storytellers and that is something thats really valued right now, lord huron tell stories better than most artists i know, theyre just incredible at capturing cinematic images and a sense of atmosphere and a distinct artistic vision, shit they even made a whole movie and heaven knows a crazy amount of other lore scattered around their songs. they shouldnt just be popular they should a musical standard in storytelling to follow people should be actively taking notes from them but they just dont have that kind of recognition its kind of a shame
