The Assassin's Loving A Childish Yet Playful S/O 💕

Altair Ibn La'Ahad

💕 You were by no means an assassin but quite enjoyed pretending to sneak around like one. You wondered how long would it take before your target spotted you. It wasn’t easy especially when around the mentor. In the library, the study you were awaiting his arrival with a book in your hands. Malik and Altair didn’t see you of course. It was mindless chatter between the two and you looked up with a challenge in mind. Could you climb the bookcase without them noticing? A chance you took and started to climb the bookcase, when you no longer heard any words exchanged you held your breath. Slowly you lifted your head, peeking over the bookcase to not see only Malik but Altair… “Y/N! What are you doing?” A loud startle and you fell to the ground, the bookcase falling to the other side atop a desk with a loud thud and books falling atop yourself on the other. He ran to your side with concern written all over his face. “For heavens sake I told you not to do things like that! It’s dangerous!�� He stood and walked away. “No more… you are hearby prevented from entering these grounds. You will stay in the village.” You stood up quickly. “That’s not fair, I was just-“ “just what?” He turned to you, “You are like a child, constantly… playing.” That hurt more than he knew. You did as he said and knew he was right but usually it wasn’t like this, not as dangerous and stupid, no yelling but just a shake of his head. He regretted it though, the yelling. And when he visited the village furious not at your childish pranks and games but because you were doing it to another… man.

Ezio Auditore

💕 When you both met up after a few errands you said nothing but embraced him. And when he started to lean down for a kiss a thought came to mind and you rudely interrupted and pushed him away. “Bella,” he said in quiet warning. You walked backwards with a mischievous smirk written on your face. “Hmm… only if you can catch me before I reach the tower.” Before he could register, you ran away swiftly from his grasp towards the ever approaching tower. Faster and faster you went before It scared you when all of a sudden he ended up tackling you resulting in a fall into a haystack, a lucky fall. “What was that?” One of the nearby guards said on alert. Ezio quickly covered your body and your mouth with his hand in an attempt to prevent any laugher from escaping. Your body shook with it though and he only gave you a playful warning to calm down before you’re both caught. “Probably just a cat, lets go.” After hearing their heavy footsteps leave, Ezio jumped out and pulled you along with him. Before a word could be spoken, even a laugh; he pulled you to a nearby wall and continued kissing you, “looks like I won,” he smiled knowing that despite the danger a moment ago he was most happy with you as it brought those days of his youth back when he cared for nothing but fun and excitement.

Connor Kenway

💕 Striding on your horses down the countryside to New York you said excitedly, “We should race.” He didn’t say anything though. “Oh come on Connor it’d be fun, besides if one of us loses we would give the winner a gift, a favor of sorts.” He only frowned at that, “If a favor is what you need Y/N, there is no need for this” “It’s no fun when there isn’t a reward though, and this endless traveling becomes dreadfully boring at times.” You sighed, how much longer of this silence? Connor may be intune to it but I am unfortunately not. He sighed, “Very well, but let’s avoid the roads, the redcoats I mean.” You nodded with a smile. “Then let’s stop, set our marker and start with a countdown.” At first it always confused him as to why you wanted to race, challenged him in fact. But simply it was who you were and what brought joy to both your lives.

Arno Dorian

💕 You had a love of games but when he didn’t appear for minutes on end you decided to find him yourself. Walking around the corner you spotted him with a few of his teammates. A ghostly smile graced your lips when you went around, yelled his name and jumped on him the moment he turned around, resulting in the both of you to fall to the ground with a groan. Hands on either side of him you lifted your body up into a sitting position atop him. “It’s no fun when I’m the one looking for you, it’s supposed to be the other way around,” you pouted. “Sorry,” a sorrowful smile graced his lips before he flipped you over giving a soft peck on the lips. You both quickly realized you weren’t alone when someone coughed. “Get a room you two.” Arno laughed, got up and gave you a hand as you ignored the others “Whatever, Arno for going past the time limit… you owe me.” “And what exactly is this debt I owe?” “Glad you asked, I want to play chess; with those delicious pastries from the café. Then end our evening with those over the top romance novels of yours.” He chuckled and shook his head. “Whatever you say Cherie I’d gladly play.” Saying his farewells he took your impatient hand in his and walked you to the café. ‘So childish’ he thought, but then again he didn’t mind. He enjoyed and basked in your excitement and joy.

The Fairs In Town 💜

Summary: All the assassins decide to go to the fair in town. Unexpectedly, their crush is there as well and decide to split off and have a fun time with their future love. 😉

Altair Ibn La'Ahad

💜 He doesn’t care for rides nor is afraid of any of them. In fact he was forced to join in on this little outing. It might be your goal to get him on a few resulting in lots of begging and wishing he’d enjoy himself for once. He only complies when a stranger comes along, flirting; resulting in Altair’s jealousy raising and pulling you along, “You want to go on rides? Fine we’re going.” He ends up enjoying it and unfortunately for you he takes you on the scary ones. Only until you get tired of the rides, you both would get some food and sit in a quiet place on the grass watching the sun set. That was his favorite part.

Ezio Auditore

💜 Ezio loves the carnival/fair, the perfect place for a romantic yet fun outing with his crush. The moment he heard you were there, he’d be the first to split off and find you. Much to Arno’s displeasure he’d drag him to the loop-o-plane in which you were in the cage beside his. And each time both your cages would meet he would say something funny, romantic. “Salve bella.” You found it funny and after the ride he’d catch up and ask to join in on your day of fun. Both of you would go on ride after ride, holding hands and spend the last of the day doing games with him and getting you surprise gifts. His favorite part was the rides especially the first one that made you smile.

Edward Kenway

💜 His favorite part was going on the rides with you. Especially the octopus or the pirate ship and just sitting there talking and joking with you. He likes both the extreme and chill rides but made sure you both got to go on what you wanted. He would also be competitive when it came to the carnival games. Wanting to win each time and seeing who would win the most games of the day.

Connor Kenway

💜 Not much of a ride person, he’d only do the less intimidating ones. But he’d go on them for you or play games, pet animals and enjoy being in your presence. He is a pretty good shot at darts though and even if you weren’t the best at games he’d let you pick any prize you wanted from the games he won. His favorite part was the games.

Arno Dorian

💜 He hoped to spend the day with her but only learned she already had other plans. Instead now he was dragged to the fair with a group of friends who quickly split up. The only person who stayed with him with Ezio who ended up dragging him to the loop-o-plane just to see his crush then leaving him in the dust, under a shaded tree, trying to overcome his nausea. What a terrible day. Or so he thought. Standing in front of him she offered some bottled water and a smile. Surprised to see her she apparently was left behind as well by her own friends. Eventually they ended up going and playing games. This at least is what he wanted to give her a romantic outing and what's better than the fair? Better than a sunset view on the faris wheel? The most romantic part is his favorite part.

Jacob Frye

💜 He loves the scary ones; a true risk taker. But then you’d end up being dragged around to all of them. He’ll eventually get the memo when you pull back and he sees you getting sick. Only then will he feel bad and suggest perhaps you both could use a break. He’ll be sweet enough to get you some water or whatever you may need to feel better as you sit and rest. The good thing is that it gave you both some time alone to talk and joke around. It turned out the end of the day was the best part of the day for you both.

💜 When you met her at the fair you couldn’t believe how excited she seemed. You didn’t know why; sure it’s fun; but there’s a fair every year and she’s acting like she’s never seen one. She had the entire day planned such as the rides, games you’ll play and when. First, the easy rides to more extreme ones with small breaks in between and looking at animals or the small shops. You couldn’t help but think how cute her excitement was and how she planned it all by herself. It even surprised you when she stated she hoped to see you there. Her favorite part was walking around the shops with you.

Assassins Finding Out Their S/O Is A Witch 💙

💙 When he learned; he wasn’t surprised one bit as everything added up, now making sense. All the late nights out, the strange herbs and things made and hidden away in your shared home. But unlike others he was more curious than fearful. In fact so much he would begin to ask questions, understand, and learn all the secrets to life, to the universe. To know that hidden knowledge. He wouldn’t be concerned about your safety knowing you have handled yourself quite fine before he met you and would find that Masyaf is one of the safest places for you where he’d be least concerned.

Connor Kenway

💙 He would be the one whose most accepting of it. Some of it is similar to what his own tribe’s beliefs and practices so he’d be the one who would help you gather materials for any spells/rituals. Even learning green witchcraft and herbalism himself. As for safety I wouldn’t think he wouldn’t be as concerned for yours seeing as the homestead is full of more trustworthy, openminded people who happen to know of Connors native and warrior like background; besides that others may see you as only a doctor. But he would warn you even on the request of Achilles in hopes you wouldn’t speak of it to others outside the safety net. But you always knew to never do such a thing.

Ezio Auditore

💙 It would depend on which Ezio we’re talking about. If he was his younger version; he would be open to it but still question your belief and the way you do things; especially if you believe in multiple existing gods. But after his meeting with Minerva he would believe there’s more to life than meets the eye. Therefore be more accepting and even curious; willing to enjoy the few moments when you open up and talk about it and even watch your work from afar. But if you aren’t in a relationship with him nor the type to fall for his charm then he may be afraid if he offended you and if you might curse him for it. Or he may ask you to do a reading on why he keeps falling into a cycle of never having love or if he ever will find love for that matter. But who knows maybe your cards indicated your future relationship together. 😉 Since it was a time when the witch trials occurred; Ezio would be fearful of your safety. You’d find him being overprotective and upset whenever you ventured out or did anything careless or in which would make you appear to be a witch. (Like if you were to heal people) But knowing you may do so anyways, to the least he would ask you to do so only near the villa and that he’d be the one gather ingredients himself.

Arno Dorian

💙 Although the witch trials declined considerably and even convicting a person difficult; it still worried him. Therefore he would still guard you from any suspicious people. On the other hand he will be confused as to why you believe yourself to be a witch. Yes, there are pieces of Eden with mystical powers. But this is different and he may appear unbelieving or not take it serious. That’s until you prove a point of his “gifts,” his abilities to see things that are not there or to witness memories through people and objects. You’d consider this his “third eye sense,” clairvoyance, or Psychometry. He would be surprised you know of it as he never told you. If not that he’ll start believing you more when he sees spells coming to fruition and your simple “knowing of things.”

Assassins First Meeting Their S/0 Through Other People 💚

Hello, sorry it's been a while since I've last done an Assassin's Creed headcanon. But now i'm back! For the past month and a half I've been writing and finishing more headcanons for you all! I'm excited to share these and have gotten a bit more confidant in writing Edward in a few of them. 😊❤️

Edward Kenway

💚 Mary Read was always the one who saw potential but struggled to have Edward quiet his ways. But when her assassin ally comes into the fold Edward is beseeched to have her stay. Even when he lost hope after many of his friends' deaths, it was she who stayed, gave him hope and showed him purpose. 

Altair Ibn La'Ahad

💚 Altair met her when he arrived at the bureau in Jerusalem. Talking to Malik about her recent success  on a mission; Malik didn’t appear surprised. He remembered hearing of her countless times in the letters Malik sent him. “Already? I only gave you that assignment a mere hour ago.” This intrigued Altair. “Unfortunately I don’t have anything else available for you, take this time to rest instead.” “Very well,” she said. Before she could walk away, Altair stepped in and asked if she wanted; he'd appreciate the company and help on his own mission. She seemed to light up almost until confusion set into her features. “Are you sure? I may just end up slowing you down, mentor.” “I am sure, Malik spoke many good things about you.” This was the start of a new forming friendship. And unknowingly the more missions and time spent together ended up with the both of you becoming fond of eachother in a romantic perspective. 

Ezio Auditore

💚 Lately Federico has been acting strange as of late. And after much prying he discovered Federico was in love but having a difficult time in getting to know her. Asking for Ezio’s help in the matter only complicated things when Ezio began to feel closer, from friendship to in love with this woman. And when others would dare harm her? He would defend her and in return received a kiss. Federico loved her but she ended up falling for him instead. 

Connor Kenway

💚 Connor was in Boston for some missions and decided to meet up with Faulkner at the Green Dragon Tavern. Upon entering Faulkner ushers him to a table in the corner. “Connor, I’d like you to meet the daughter of an old friend of mine. Her name is Y/N.” A woman with H/C sat at the table with some ale in her hand. She looked up at him and smiled. “Hello, Captain Kenway.” Ever since then she’s joined in on his sea voyages and eventually the rebirth of the colonial brotherhood. This led to more time together and an eventual romantic relationship. 

Arno Dorian

💚 She was a friend of Elise’s when she visited England once. Returning to help her on her journey she eventually met Arno. He was infatuated, finding you more calm and different from Elise’s temper. But it was when Elise died that she blamed Arno for every incident. But as time moved on so did your hearts. It took a while and a lot of pestering to realize both your feelings for eachother.

Thanks, I just posted because I’m curious how others do it themselves. Sometime I plan to go food shopping and I can’t wait to make some delicious meals and share my creation with one of the deities I’m starting to work with. ❤️🤤 Like seriously all of a sudden I’m wanting to eat a lot of meat dishes. But I’m not complaining it all sounds way too good.

Question on Hades Altar

This may seem like a silly question but to the people who work with Hades, god of the underworld.

I started watching a room tour in my recommendation list which the “YouTuber” was talking about in another video she would show her money altar. I was like whatever just gonna go about my day but then a while later that video on her money altar appeared again. I decided why not? I’ll watch it and it actually inspired me to create my own for money/financial goals, learning, dreams etc…

I want to create one but I don’t have altar space really for it. But I know while I was watching that video I instantly thought of Hades. I could do it for Freya instead but I prefer hades esp considering a lot of his objects like shells etc seem to be related to money and not just death.

Anyways to hades devotees, people who work with him do you think it would be okay to add a small area on his altar for a money bowl? A place to add and eventually remove change? Or like kind of combined a place to do money magic. It would still be his altar and unless it deals with mine or death it won’t be on there. I just don’t want to be disrespectful to him if it’s also a little bit of a money Altar as well it if I place a green candle.

The Assassin’s Type of Woman 💛

• Summary: This includes apperance, personality, hobbies & interests, what their s/o would most likely be; basically describing what the assassins would be attracted to. It will be based off my opinions “and” what I tend to see in the games (PS my friend Anubissmistress helped me with Connor.

Altair

- I could see Altair being interested in blondes. But the obvious would be a woman with darker looks. That’s not to say he wouldn’t like lighter eyes. But what I think would really make her stand out; at least to attract him, would be a woman with curly hair; that would differentiate her from the rest

- He definitely would like a woman who is empathetic, calm, and warm but the surprising part would be someone who also has wonder, curiosity, and who wants to seek adventures, something that speaks to the being in his soul that just wants to be let out. After all he seemed more than willing to explore philosophy and higher learning and the means of the world several times and having someone to explore that with or simply someone who knows a lot about other countries, cultures, and knowledge; he’d love that.

- Like I said above, when it comes to hobbies or interests he’d be best with someone who is curious and seeks learning about the world around them. Especially if it’s spirituality, witchcraft, philosophy or any hidden knowledge as shown with his curiosity towards the apple.

- He doesn’t seem the type to just go after any woman, certainly not noble women unless they are adventurous, stubborn, and brave. And those are the women he would go after. So unless she happens to be some kind of soldier/fighter it would be a harder meeting.

Ezio

- I don’t believe Ezio is picky when it comes to appearance but from I’ve gathered from the games it’s women with darker hair or red hair. But in my personal opinion I have a feeling he might like a woman with blonde hair, something that is completely different to his darker looks. But I think he would be more interested in women with lighter eyes for sure.

- Ezio is attracted to women who are powerful, strong, flirtatious, and confident. I mean he did say, “Sounds like my kind of lady” when it came to Caterina Sforza. And I know it’s shown a bit but I really do think he would like and should be with someone compassionate and sweet. Ezio is an emotional and empathetic guy but he seems to really try to set his emotions aside for the brotherhood and gets hurt by women such as Cristina and Caterina. That’s why he does need a strong, confident woman who defends him and empathetic and understanding towards his feelings rather than setting them aside. Alongside it would be someone who can be amusing and playful to cheer him up and can compete with his flirtatious behavior.

- Obviously he would like a knowledgeable woman who’s interested in arts, books, and inventions meaning she’ll get along with Leonardo. But he might find himself interested in a woman who is into other things such as outdoorsy activities like botany, gardening, and medicine as it would be something very unusual for a woman in that time.

- I don’t think it would necessarily matter if she’s an assassin or a noblewoman etc. But it would help if she knows how to protect herself. But I sense he’d probably like a woman who’s smart and can help him in some way no matter if it’s politics, strategy, on missions or simply helping him find or solve things.

Arno

- He wouldn’t mind brunettes but to what’s he’s attracted to? It has to be red hair because of Elise. I know I’m picking what’s done in the game. But hear me out on why. Arno grew up with Elise and grew to love her and her red hair and thus anybody new who comes into his life with red hair reminds him of her. But if we were to talk about any other characteristics it would be lighter eyes and blonde hair as that’s what I get my vibes on.

- He would be attracted to and needs someone more empathetic, understanding and openminded to him rather than setting aside another’s feelings. He’d like someone enthusiastic, optimistic, a bit outgoing? Playful and a hopeless romantic just like him. Someone who can help balance him out either by creating mischievous chaos together yet can relax and think things through when it’s important.

- He wants someone who has the same creative passions he does. Someone who enjoys art, music, philosophy, poetry, reading etc. he may be drawn to people who have a deep love for these things.

- He would go both ways honestly. Either he is working day and night for the brotherhood and somehow, eventually comes across a beautiful women who captures his interest on the few missions and runs ins. Or he decides to venture out in Paris on a walk or into a shop and happens to run into the one who happens to be a simple noble/ordinary woman. The most likely case would be someone who ends up in his cafe somehow since he may tend to spend most of his time there.

Connor

- Arriving in Boston Connor might find himself drawn to women with blonde hair as it is uniquely different from traditional women he’s grown up with. But that wouldn’t change his preference for darker hair and brunettes.

- Connor would do well with someone who is sure in their values and beliefs and may even be wise or at least reasonable and stable. And while these traits might attract him; he would also like someone who is more openminded and uplifting/optimistic seeing as most people he is surrounded by are pessimistic or closed off from what could be and rather fall in what is. Although just because she is this way doesn’t mean she can’t be realistic and calm when it comes to telling Connor what can and can’t be done; therefore someone who can talk him through things without combating in a way that would make him walk away angry would be a better outcome.

- He most definitely would be interested in an outdoorsy type of woman. Someone who I could imagine would be out in the woods collecting feathers, flowers etc. Drawing, taking notes on botany and the things she’s collected or simply painting a beautiful meadow. And if she’s not doing that she’ll be at home reading, reorganizing her notes and learning about all kinds of things, animals, plants in nature. She might be even interested in the learning of cultures which would bring joy to him when he gets to talk about his tribe.

- In canon he ends up with a woman from another tribe. This of course is the most likely case. But if it had to be outside of this it would probably be some ordinary woman who comes across the homestead for a place to stay and call home. As they get to know eachother he’d find that loneliness to be filled.

Assassins Staying With Her After A Nightmare 🧡

🧡 While on a mission in one of the cities you both decided to sleep for the night. That's when you started tossing and turning in your sleep. He woke up concerned when you started sobbing and calling out in fear. You had a nightmare. He gently shakes your shoulder and you wake startled. “You had a nightmare..” he said, after a moment, you sat up and looked away

“I’m sorry for waking you…” you said, as you wiped the tears from your eyes. You didn’t want to appear weak to him, you valued his opinion of you.

As if reading your mind, he wiped your tears away and told you, “I was… worried when you got captured by Garnier. Afraid and lost in my nightmares after hearing your screams as he tortured you…” As you looked at him but he looked away and you could catch the pain in his eyes. “Y/N… I admire that and despite it you didn’t let it dishearten you as an assassin. Many others even myself have let anger, fear and pain consume us making the worst version of ourselves…” You were surprised at his warm confession, none of the other assassins especially him showed such empathy. After a few moments of silence, he gently moved a strand of hair from your face, “Get some sleep…” Instead of moving back to his side of the room he laid down amongst the pillows next to you, hesitantly and unsure until you grabbed onto his robes in desperation. Did he pull you closer into his arms until you fell asleep.

Ezio Auditore

🧡 You didn’t want to bother him so you said nothing. Even though you both admitted your feelings you were too afraid to speak of your nightmares. But

nights later you stayed up to watch the stars when Ezio came out. Surprising you; he asked if it was the nightmares keeping you up.

 “How did you know?” You said, watching as he approached you,

 “Because I watch the stars when I have a nightmare too”

“But that doesn’t explain-“

“I also saw you having one not that long ago when you stayed a few nights because of your injuries,” You looked away guilty and embarrassed that he knows now. “Bella…it’s nothing to be ashamed of, it happens to the best of us in this kind of work. I had them quite often too.”

You turned around and your voice broke, “How can you be so calm and happy then?”

“I can’t. I lie and smile but… everyday I feel guilty and miss my family, questioning why I was the one who lived. But when I look at you…” he walks closer, taking your chin and tilting your head up to meet his eyes. “It’s you who gives me the strength to move forward.” somehow relief flooded you in knowing you aren’t alone. He then offers his hand for you to take, he leads you to his room and holds you as you both fall into a deep sleep.

Connor Kenway

🧡 It was in the middle of the night when he heard an ear-shattering scream coming from your room. He ran and forced the door open to see you sitting in bed, a sweating mess with tears staining down your face. He calmed down.

“I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to wake you”  you let out a sob, and he sat next to you, pulling you towards him until he found you calmed down.

“If you need to talk about it… I will always be here.”

After a few more sobs you spoke in a shattered voice, “I’m scared… Everyone was gone and I felt so alone.”

He nuzzled into your neck and softly replied, “I’ll never leave you again y/n I promise.” And soon fast asleep in his arms you were. Settling you back in bed you clung to him asking for him to stay. He hesitantly pulled the cover over him and held you in his arms.

🧡 For the past few days you’ve looked exhausted. You had a terrible mission a week ago and even though Arno wanted to know what happened, you never said anything; pretending to be okay. He had enough worries, stress and sorrows. All he knew was that every morning you weren’t in bed and even some nights when he awoke it was the same. Until one night ended differently. While having a nightmare, he came into the room through the rooftop garden after a late mission to find you sobbing. He gently woke you and removed his clothes to lay in bed, holding onto you desperately as you cried. When he asked if you were suffering from nightmares the last few nights, you nodded.

“you should have told me, cherie” he said, as you told him your friend died.

“I didn’t want to worry you”

he held you tighter, “we’re in this together, my love.” he kisses your head calming you until you fall fast asleep.

❤️ During your friendship he always assumed you weren’t interested in love nor the most affectionate person. But as your relationship evolved into something more he wanted to express his love for you, only to be surprised how affectionate you really are. When a mission takes a wrong turn, resulting in a common guard harassing you; he starts to wonder if it was a fear of physical intimacy itself. He remembered all the times when you rejected his past attempts at initiating more. So he didn’t hold back in saying how he would not pressure, force or harm you in any way and if you trust him he’d like to help you with it; that there is no shame in feeling that insecurity. His unfaltering honesty surprised you compared to his stoic dominance. But you accepted the terms. 

It was little things like turning around and changing in the same room or on a hot day you both laid in bed and he would softly graze your stomach, thighs and back, a soft tease that sent a pleasurable shiver down your spine. Over time as you got braver in showing him more skin and comfortable with his touches he would attempt to pleasure you a little more in small ways both with his hands and mouth. It was after so much pleasuring; you started demanding more, surprising him with your pleads, would he comply. Keeping your nightgown on and perhaps letting you touch him first and eventually pleasing one another until you were okay with being completely bare to him.

❤️ It took longer for him to realize what was really going on. He is a physically affectionate person so when you kept rejecting his advances, he was hurt and thought you didn’t want him. As such he may have started to distance himself, being consumed in depression. But when he blurted out his feelings and why he was so depressed; you felt… guilty. You didn’t want to lose or disappoint him but you were too scared to admit it. So the next time you both got in an intimate position; you pushed him away, shaking and apologizing constantly. He looked concerned and started to wonder if it was something else. He brushed away your tears and hesitantly pulled you close to him, softly asking why you were scared. You finally admitted your fear of intimacy and that you are afraid he won’t be pleased with your body. That's when he held you tighter and told you he can take it slow. 

So he did; taking it slow with you. Instead of initiating it as he always does he would instead attempt to encourage you to initiate it first so you wouldn’t feel pressured. What started off as simple kisses and getting the feel in the strength and muscles of his arms and chest eventually turned to simply pleasuring each other without fully delving in. He would do anything you wanted to explore any curiosities. He would praise you as well claiming how soft your skin was or the beautiful rosey blush to your cheeks. And oh when you started testing the waters did he smirk and raise a dark brow at your audacity.

❤️ Arno started to realize early on from your interactions with him about your fear of physical intimacy. He knew you wanted nothing more than to love and be loved, yet you held yourself back. What did shock him was the fact you were so insecure you didn’t think you were worthy of love or even beautiful. He started to pick things out that you liked and made you feel beautiful, such as jewelry or dresses especially if they are tight fitting; anything to make you feel beautiful. Others involve complimenting you and how cute you are when you’re shy. And then when it came to the bedroom he would help you move past your fears. 

Slowly he would start with friendly, safe massages to make you more comfortable and at times slowly reveal more skin, helping you get used to the intimacy of his touches and hold you as you both slept. In a more venturesome setting he would suggest bathing together even if meant some skin had to be hidden under a towel or undergarments. And only when you were ready and comfortable would he cover you in his soft blankets and ever so gently make love to you. Praising the beauty you withheld and how lovely he thought those soft moans you let out were.

💕 Riding to Masyaf after a mission with your mentor, you couldn’t help but let your mind drift back to your friend’s words. Was it true? You never thought about your feelings or the way he acted around you. Until now… He always seemed softer rather than the stoic show he put on in front of others. No matter what it was; training, asking for your help in his library, or simply requesting your presence on missions; he always wanted you around. The past few months left you realizing your feelings and questioning his. Are you both so dense not to know this until commented by another? When he asked about your silence you stopped your horse causing him to follow. You looked anywhere but at him and hesitated. “I love you.” The worry sewed in like a weed at the difficulty in reading him. For a second he gave a contemplative look before glancing away, “How long?” “A few months” He sighed, “YN… I do not-“ “Then why act so different? Why treat me any different from the others?” Giving a scrutinizing look he plainly laid it out, “I trust you, that is all.” He said, strutting his horse away. “We are merely… allies, nothing more.” A soft whimper escaped your lips. Moving forward home in silence became unbearable and you only hoped not to be joined on anymore with him. You were so stupid for being hopeful.

💕 You both attended the Carnevale to get the Doge’s golden masked invitation to his party. Ezio, the one competing, and you helping. But when you lost sight and searched for him, you found him with a beautiful dark haired woman. Deep down you knew he knew her and perhaps loved her. Later that evening when he returned to Teodora’s Brothel he asked why you left and your silence. He was his usual cheerful self. Until you admitted your feelings. He stood there quiet as if contemplating his rejection. Heartbroken by his silence you walked away. He barely said “I’m sorry Y/N.” Ignoring him, you knew you have been a difficult person to know but you weren’t sure about anything more than this but he left you and didn’t even attempt to come looking for you. The pain of his rejection stayed with you even when you left the Italian brotherhood to Spain.

💕 You loved him but never told him and that bothered you. The fear of rejection stung but would he? Some small bits of hope still lingered despite the difficulty in contemplating by his actions if he felt the same or was just nice. After Myriam’s wedding reception, Connor asked what has been troubling you all week. Yet again, no answer for what your feelings hold. But tonight after the many offers of drinks relaxed you and made you more carefree. So much to the point you blurted out the truth. He froze and stopped walking. Turning on your heel with a bit of stumble in your step he said, “I’m sorry Y/N. I can’t. Not right now. I… have a job to do. I do not have the luxury of seeking any relationships.” It hurt more than you imagined especially how he put it, but you didn’t want to cry in front of him. So you said nothing as he was so stupidly kind enough to walk you back to your house. But the moment you entered and shut the door with a soft click, you landed onto your bed and cried yourself to sleep at the rejection and embarrassment. You got your answer, he was too nice.

💕 For a while you were left with these feelings you’ve obtained. But you swore to never speak to a soul of this. You thought you could simply enjoy his presence and love him from afar. To sacrifice your own love for him so he could be oblivious, happy with Elise and to never lose a friendship. But when you helped him reorganize his library you couldn’t help but let your gaze rest on him. In that moment despite your promise you felt a longing to tell him. Saying his name in a soft whisper sent butterflies yet fear in your stomach when he looked your way. “What is it?” He said, you swallowed and slowly let out the very feelings you’ve kept hidden. You almost hoped when he gave you those soft eyes but clearly mistaken with the sigh of breath and lay of a book. “Y/N you are my dearest friend. One I could not bear to lose but I cannot return these… feelings. I love Elise. You know this…” He looked away from his book to you. You felt like you just got stabbed in the heart by the man you love. And despite your friendship you avoided him at all costs and it ended up not being hard because of his focus on Elise. But that didn’t stop your heart clenching every time you saw him or the hopeful consideration he might have after Elise left him.
