Now that Israel has destroyed almost all housing units in Gaza, it is now striking the tents where displaced Palestinians have taken refuge. At least 19 people were killed and dozens injured today in an Israeli attack on refugee tents in Gaza, an area Israel has designated a safe zone.

My name is Wedad , from Gaza.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since my home was destroyed, I’ve forgotten what safety feels like. I’ve been displaced nine times each time leaving behind what little remained, running from bombs, carrying nothing but fear and my child’s hand.
Now I live in a worn-out tent by the shores of Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. The sea is in front of me, but no peace in sight only hunger, sickness, and exhaustion. My husband has been missing for a long time… I don’t know where he is, or if I’ll ever see him again. Since his disappearance, I’ve had to face everything alone.
But I’m not truly alone…
My little son is the one who takes care of me now.
Yes — a child has become my only support. He comforts me when I cry, searches for scraps of food, and holds my hand when I fall.
Tumblr media
We are living a nightmare
There’s no clean water. No food. No medicine. We are constantly sick from malnutrition. I have severe pain in my leg and need ongoing treatment, but there’s no way to get help.
I’m tired. My body is breaking.
My son a child is carrying a weight no child should carry. We are dying in slow motion… while the world looks away.
Please… don’t ignore this.
Don’t let my son grow up watching his mother starve and suffer.
Your donation isn’t just money it’s food, it’s medicine, it’s life.
Help us… before it’s too late.
Before the last bit of strength fades from my body…and the last bit of hope leaves my son’s eyes.

I am Sami, and my children are holding a picture of our home that was completely destroyed above our heads. That house was once our sanctuary, a place of safety and dreams. Now, it lies in ruins, and with it, we lost not only walls but the childhood and security of my children. Many of our family members tragically died when the house collapsed, leaving a pain that words cannot express. Today, my children live in cold tents without shelter or enough food, facing every day with fear and hardship.
Please donate and save the children
Tumblr media
I ask you to help us—your donation is more than money; it is a lifeline, a spark of hope that can bring light back into our lives. It is the chance for my children to grow up safe, surrounded by love instead of the sounds of war. Please be the reason we rebuild our dreams and give us the opportunity to create new smiles from the rubble. Don’t let their innocence be buried—donate now and help us survive. vetted by el-shab-hussein & fairuzfan

Even the bird was not spared from pain. He flew off to find food for his little ones, but when he returned, he found them in pieces beneath the ashes of a burned branch. He stood silently, crying—unable to understand the language of war or why the souls he sang to every morning were taken away. If a small bird could feel such agony, imagine the heart of a mother under endless bombing, or a father holding the torn bodies of his children with shaking, powerless hands. Donate here

My name is Sami, and I speak to you from the heart of Gaza. We have survived being buried under rubble again and again, carrying our children as we flee from one death to another. There is no medicine, no shelter, no food. My children tremble from hunger and fear. I’m not writing this to sadden you—I’m writing to try to save my family. My mother is sick, my siblings are displaced, my children are starving. We live in tents that protect neither from the heat nor the cold. If you’re reading this, leave even a dot—it means you saw us. Please donate here. Someone is praying for the help you can give.

A large number of people participate, but unfortunately, no one donates. I swear, I am talking to you and I am ashamed of you because I have not eaten for more than two full days.

I am making this post on the behalf of Sami and his family -- Gazans currently suffering from hunger and violence.
Sami says:
"Imagine starting your childhood carrying your little brother on your back instead of a schoolbag. Imagine your first lesson in life being not about games or dreams, but about survival and responsibility. In Gaza, many children grow up too soon, not because they want to, but because war has left them no choice.
These children have never tasted safety. They've lost their homes, their families, and their innocence. Some became orphans in a single night, standing in the ruins of everything they once loved. And yet, even after all the pain, their hearts still beat with hope and kindness.
This is my life, and the life of my family, in the heart of Gaza. Displaced, surrounded by destruction, and living under constant threat, we cling to each other and to life with whatever strength we have left. When someone from Gaza speaks to you, it is not just a story—it’s a cry for help."
Please consider supporting Sami's fundraiser, found here.

Among the 7 billion people who woke up this morning... there are those who started their day with hot coffee, those who prepared for a trip, and those who waited for a love letter. On the other hand, there are those in Gaza who woke up waiting for food. Among the 7 billion people who are celebrating, working, and traveling, in Gaza there are those who are waiting for the electricity to return, the water to clear, and for the night to pass without fear. Among the 7 billion people who complain about traffic jams or the summer heat, in Gaza there is a mother saying goodbye to her dead children. Among the 7 billion people who move between cities and countries, in Gaza there are those who have never gone out to live in peace. Among the 7 billion people who dream of the future, in Gaza there are those who only dream of living a normal day. A day without planes, without rubble, without fear. Save Sami and his family from this hell. Share and donate to me because I am in dire need of it.
Donate without hesitation5 euros is enough

In the age of shiny screens and smart towers, children in Gaza are dying minutes away from 5G networks. They didn't die from a bomb, but from starvation. And worse? Their deaths weren't sudden. They took their time, day after day, atrophy after atrophy, until they disappeared, leaving only their bodies resembling life, but not living.
Where was humanity?
Where were the governments and organizations? Where are you? You who watch and grieve for a few minutes, then pass the image along like an advertisement. You who have food, medicine, and even the internet to cry out... but you remain silent.
Why are my children in Gaza dying of starvation? Not because the world is powerless, but because it chose not to see.
What is happening is an indictment of a world that has made humanity a choice, not an innate quality. An indictment of everyone who remained silent, everyone who saw and remained silent, everyone who liked the image without moving.
We don't need images that shake us... we need hearts that don't remain silent. Please share our post, my friends, maybe you can change this bitter reality and donate to us what you can. Your donation will save us from the famine that is ravaging the bodies of my young children who are now suffering from malnutrition. Believe me, I am writing to you now with a trembling heart, eyes filled with tears, and a wish that my children will survive this deadly famine. I am completely helpless and you are the ones who can save us. Thank you all and I am very sorry for bothering you.
Your friend,
Hossam Al-Qazzaz

I do hope the Al-Khalili family recovers from my and others' mistaken accusation.
All of us who reblogged the post, let's donate to Sami's family to help rectify our mistake. I will be sending Sami's family 20$ since my paycheck just hit.
Try to match my donation if you can! And if you can't, donate what you can anyways.
