My genuine reaction:

i’m sick of people sleeping on paige and warden from the bone season so i’m going to convince you why they’re one of the greatest queer m/f ships i’ve ever read

did i mention they’re a queer m/f couple??? she’s demiace and he’s pan and their relationship revolves around her aceness

enemies to friends to lovers except they’re barely enemies at the beginning because he’s already taking care of her she just doesn’t realize it

slow burn bc they kiss in book one but they don’t officially get together until later in the series

star-crossed (species-crossed?) forbidden romance that they have to keep hidden

soulmates with a special magical bond and slightly telepathic communication

tiny snarky one who likes to run her mouth + big tall protective one who just stands menacingly in the background

he would do anything to get her back……..and she’d do the same for him

“i will always find you”

she’s jealous of people flirting with him but he doesn’t even notice because he’s watching her

he’s wearing an “i’m with stupid” shirt and she’s wearing an “i’m stupid” shirt

even though he doesn’t approve of some of her decisions, he adamantly insists that she’s allowed to make her own choices…and he’ll be there to support her through all of them

lots of angst because they value saving the world and recognize their duty to the revolution even though they’re clearly obsessed with each other
