Fear is going to lie to you and try to convince you that this place called "there" as in "I'm not there yet" actually exists. Like it's some place you can actually ever get to. Like it won't always be just out of your reach and a fingertip's breath beyond your grasp. It's going to make you think it's an actual place you can find on a map. That it exists somewhere in the cross hair intersection of "waited her turn" and "has now been given permission." But I'm here to tell you, there is no place called "there" and you can spend your whole life waiting on it.

First of all, I would like to extend my warmest thanks to everyone who has kept my family in their thoughts for the past few days since Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda struck the Philippines several days ago. My family and I really appreciate it and we’re trying to stay positive.
I’ve already donated a small sum personally, but I wanted to do more. Therefore, from now until midnight 30th November 2013 AEDST, all the money I make from my Society6 store will go towards the Philippine Red Cross. Every. single. cent. There isn’t a lot of designs on there but I definitely plan to add more.
So if you can spare the cash and would like something new in your life, whether it be a new top, a phone case, a print - you name it - feel free to shop from my store.
Here’s the link to the shop: society6.com/pixelpushinglife
If you prefer to donate to the Philippine Red Cross directly, the link is here: redcross.org.ph/donatenow
Please spread the word.

I spent a few hours doing that for you.  I'm pretty happy for you to post them on Tumblr but please link back to the AU review page. And yes, he was something incredible. Something so magical ;-)

I shot a wedding in March and lost a handful of photos from the reception on a slightly dodgy card. I managed to recover a few (Data Rescue 3, y'all. Word!) and this was one of them. A nice corrupted reception shot. I think it's kinda pretty.

Credit for this photo goes to my beautiful friend, Erin. Super proud of this photo and all the hard work we’ve put in over the past 6 weeks. I’ve lost over 10kg now and I weigh less than what I did at school. So many good things are happening for me right now. I think the look on my face (the desperate desire to smile) perfectly captures this »

365 Day Project - Day 341 (August 4, 2012) BIRD ATTACK! I snapped this one right before a wedding ceremony. I was shooting one of those noisy miners sitting on this big flower branch thingo as a detail shot for the ceremony, and then BAM! Ambushed by another noisy miner!

365 Day Project - Day 339 (August 2, 2012) These rings belonged to my grandparents. Part of the reason I'm so behind in posting these 365s (and why so many of them are obviously half-hearted) is because my grandfather passed away recently. He was 96 years old and completely amazing. He had a good run. We were ready for it, but it was still hard. The tulips were a condolence gift from a family friend. My uncle's expressed a wish to hold on to Grandpa's ring, and my mother keeps Grandma's, so I wanted to grab a shot of them while they were still together.
In case you were wondering why there are three rings, it's because Grandma had two wedding rings. The first was the textured one in the middle, but she wore it for so long the texture wore off, so Grandpa got her a new one. She wore it smooth too.

365 Day Project - Day 338 (August 1, 2012) GPOY. Fresh start for the first day of the last month of the project. Or something.
Self portrait. I love this jumper. And the hat's because I had bad hair.

#6thBIGBANGAlive 365 Day Project - Day 356 (August 19, 2012) This is out of order, but I have to post it while it's still topical. Happy six years of amazing music, BigBang. Please keep it coming. I wasn't aiming to look like a crazy person here, it just kind of happened. Taken in the dark, with a long exposure, and lit by a quick burst of light from my Smiggle torch that lives on my car keys because I couldn't be bothered with a flash. Amanda Palmer writes all over herself in Sharpie when she's excited about something. I was excited, but this is only pencil eyeliner. It washes off easier. In other news, it's almost over!! The 365 day project is almost over!

365 Day Project - Day 335 (July 29, 2012) The photographer, photographed. The last shot of the TVR calendar shoot, but not for the calendar. So technically Chris pressed the shutter for this photo, but I set the camera and the lights, so... it counts, right? I was going for the SHINee Hello pose but I crossed the wrong foot and it looked really bung, so... cropped. Also I cut myself off the background really dodgily so don't look too close. But I've seen worse in magazines, which is sad.
