I know this movie has been talked to death by everyone but the movie is worth it, also what's the next movie i should review?
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie review. Is it the best Marvel Movie?
Plot:
Spider-man into the Spider-verse debuts Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) as the brand-spanking new Spider-man. However, in this movie, despite being called “Into the Spider-verse” only one Spiderman can exist at a time in one universe. This means Miles’ Peter Parker (Jake Johnson) equivalent meets his unfortunate end at the gigantic hands of The Kingpin (Liev Schreiber (A.K.A Sabretooth from Wolverine Origins)). However, this Peter Parker does not die in vein as he inspires Miles to take up the mantle of being the superhero to save New York as well as Time and Space.
The reason why Peter Parker…dies is because he tries to interrupt Kingpin from creating a barrier which will allow him to have his wife and child again, he wants his life back, he wants things to be the way they were before spiderman. However, time travel might be tricky in the marvel universe, However, Dimension hopping is a piece of cake within any comic book universe. As spiderman tries to break the machine that could lead Kingpin to his dreams his face gets caught in the beams of energy that it is emitting and therefore instead of trying to find kingpins wife and child and bring them to the Miles’ universe he instead brings 4 Spiders. 1 Spider Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld), 1 Spider-man Noire (Nicolas Cage), 1 Spider-Mech/Penni Parker (Kimiko Glenn) and 1 Spider-Ham/Pig (John Mulaney). They then try to make their way back home to their own universes/dimensions, and put and end to Kingpins Plan.
Opinion:
This will have Spoilers:
The Art direction in the film is stunning, each Spider has their own art style and animation, you can tell that a lot of effort, care and dedication went into all of them, there are Easter eggs throughout the film as well, for example, you can see in the Ex-Peter Parker the suit from the Spiderman game that was released this year on PS4. This movie is worth the extra money to see it in 3-D so the art comes off as intended Eye-popping, colourful and masterful.
With the talk of Art I must also talk about the Music within the movie as well, as music plays a part of Miles self control as being the new spiderman and aids him too in a lot of other ways. The art is extremely modern a large range of hip-hop similar to Post Malone (who has a credit in this movie as being a voice actor), however there are throwbacks to the original spiderman theme, as well as spidermans own Christmas theme, much like the batman Christmas theme.
I also highly appreciate Stan Lee’s cameo as it could not have come at a worse time, since his sudden passing, but it also came at the perfect time for Stan Lee to tell us that we are all heros and we must follow are our hearts, I love that you can tell everyone who had a hand in this movie cared for his words, were inspired by his works and are truly all heroes within their own right.
The Voice-overs were all incredible I grew to care for Miles’ character extremely quickly as i was not as familiar with his Spider-man as I was Peters’. Shameik Moore did an excellent role of showing all the ranges of emotions, the struggle of what it is to always do what is right even if it might break your own heart. Jake Johnson showed the laid back attitude that his spider-man has developed over time,  as well as his depression and longing to no longer be for his world as his personal life has come to ruin, he conveys this in both his voice as well as the way that he moves (which goes to the credit of the animators). The other Spiders were in the movie to quick ass and show what other heroes could be on the screen other than the ones that we are already used to. Spider-Gwen was there to encourage Miles to be a hero, but that could be said for any Spider, Spider-ham and Spider-Noire were for comedic relief at a lot of times, but Noire was more kick-ass ask questions later however he was teleported from the 1930s ….wait forgot what i mentioned about time travel earlier…. and Penni Parker (Spider Mech) probably has the most emotional scene in the movie, because she has lost her Spider power, her power came from the mech…well from what we could tell in the movie, as the spider that bite her actually was powering the mech, she was just able to control it.
End Credits:
The end credits has one message from Stan Lee, to tell us to be hereoes all we need is to follow our hearts and what is right.
When we wait through all the credits you will see the appearance of another Spider, Spider-man 2099, which if they make another movie, AND THEY SHOULD MAKE ANOTHER MOVIE will most likely have a large role in it, however as i am only familiar with comcis through shows, I know very little other than what i saw in the post credits. And he seems to be the equivalent of Tony Stark, his suit, which is obviously the suit of Spider-man 2099 is futuristic but is similar to Batmans suit in the Christopher Nolan trilogy as well as he has a female holographic version of Jarvis… or it could just be a hologram that someone is projecting from another distance, I am only theorizing here.
And if you appreciate Spider-man memes you will certainly love the End Credits ;)
Overall Score:
I love the art, the plot, the music, the animation, the voices, the character development and so much more that i must hold back on, despite this being the review for this movie, I encourage everyone to go watch it, even if you do not like superhero movies you will appreciate the art, you will appreciate the time and effort it took to create this movie.
and for that I give it:

Sorry to Bother You
- The film that is too weird to comprehend
Sorry to Bother You (Made by Boots Riley) is primarily about a telemarketer who wants to get rich quick, or as the main character Cassius Green (Lakeith Stanfield) puts it he wants to be more interesting to his girlfriend, Detroit (Tessa Thompson).
As I sit trying to understand this movie, that is the only thing I can comprehend about this film. It starts with him trying to get a job as a telemarketer, he gets the job as they’ll hire anyone, he performs well and it all spires out of normalcy. Cash Green is a normal guy who gets increasingly lucky but his greed forces that luck to plummet.
The actor Lakeith Stanfield does an incredible job with what he has to work with, I believe he performed to the best of his ability, if it was not for him I don’t believe i have to ask myself “If i liked the movie”, if he didn't perform so well that would be an easy question to answer.
Another credit that I must award is the world building, the film is set in an alternative present in Oakland, America. However, a large company called Worry Free is wanting to create a large workforce that will be working for free, under the conditions that they get the bare necessities of life, food, water and a bed. This is complicated for a number of reasons, obviously, Detroit and other secondary characters believe this to be worrying and striping away humanity from workers. Even still it is a even more murky waters than that. They want to create the ultimate workforce by any means necessary, with the help and success that Cash Green has been having.
SPOILERS:
I must talk about what happens within the film to talk about why it becomes so difficult to understand. The film starts simply, a telemarketer trying to sell....something is selling that particular line of products well, and is making a name for him in the world of telemarketing as soon as he discovers to sell well he must make his voice “More White” . He gets promoted because of his long line of successes, he no longer needs to sell in the basement, now he can sell upstairs, as he is now a Power Caller, he can sell actual Power, i.e. Weapons, War, he is basically Tony Stark, but on the phone, before he becomes Iron Man.
The aforementioned company Worry Free, then takes in interest in the special case of Cash Green, by this point in the film, we know that there is a clear line of what the common people want, and what the 1% want. This small percentage of people want to create the best possible workers, for the best possible profits. so they create a human hybrid to build the ultimate worker, so what do the scientists and CEO mix with humans, why horses of course.
The CEO of Worry Safe (who is probably the most comedic villain i have seen in a long time) wants Cash Green’s charisma to drive this workforce so they become cultured, he wants the horsemen and horseladies to become the new norm. What he wants Cash to do is to convince them that he is on their side so that they work well, and don’t revolt for the creatures that they have become.
Cash runs down on his luck by turning down this offer, however, prior to this he smoked what he assumed to be cocaine, but was actually the drug that turns people into horse people. This would make the horse people more likely to trust him, but it has broken the trust between the CEO and Cash, so he turns the offer down, and starts the revolution against Worry Safe.
GRIPES :
I have many things that make me question what i watch, however along with those questions, I have praises but i also have some dislikes. The main dislike I have is that the film does not understand social media. During the Story there are many different arcs, one arc that actually helps Cash is that he becomes a “viral sensation” because he was hit in the head by a cola can, because a protester threw it at him while he was selling weapons across the globe. The video of him being hit in the head does indeed becoming viral with over 500 million views, however it is the content that I have the problem with. It is unlikely that a man being hit in the head at a protest will get 500 million views, yet, i can still see the small possibility that it may hit views close to that, However, in our world, there are over 300 million Americans, I believe that roughly 70% of them will watch that video, However i don’t believe the nearly 200 million people outside of America will care about that video, so will therefore not watch it. Even if 500 million people do watch that protest video, like so many have watched the protest of that Purple-haired man Round House kicking that pro-life woman, I don’t think that the writers would understand what 500 million people on the internet can achieve. The name of Cash isn’t known by the public for presumably weeks or even months, but the trend is so popular that their universe of Coke is even making ads based around that “viral video” yet they do not even know the name of the man who was hit in the head. However, someone on 4chan will try to find him, or someone he knows personally will sell out his name so that they can get some money, or Cash himself would unveil his true self so that he gets to star on national television (however, he does this eventually which he does in a clever way).
Sorry that this is so long, I am Sorry to [have] Bother[ed] You

I Forgot to give it a rating, I’ve been thinking about it since I posted this a few days ago, and despite my negative viewing from this review, I only talk about the negative because it might ruin a lot of the fun of the movie. And a lot of this movie was like things that are hard to talk about such as the Elon villain company. My favourite part of the film was a reference to James Jonah Jameson (Chief Editor of the Daily Bugle) who’s son was on the mission to explore space, and came across the symbiotes meteor and collected the samples. From there I knew it could be a venom that I grew up with and can continue to grow with.
So Overall I give this film a 6.5/10
Venom isn't as bad as people say
Venom had awful trailers that a lot of people hated for various reasons, the writing being a very key element in all movies was poorly written, well what they showed in the trailers was poorly written. No one who knows venom even a tiny amount, such as my knowledge of Venom from playing many Marvel Games, knows that Venom would never say “Like a turd rolling in the wind”. No one other than Tommy Wiseau himself could come up with that line, but some how fox execs allowed that to be in the trailer. I will never understand why fox continues to weasel its way onto the Hero movie market.
However, the trailers show you all the bad parts of the film, therefore its actually pretty genius, but I wont give them credit for it, that they allowed people to expect hot garbage, but in reality that gave them a somewhat decent (not epic) tale of a man who has lost everything trying to save the world from an Evil/Normal Elon Musk (who knows Elon Musk could be the next Green Goblin).
The only issue I have with the movies that were not shown in the trailers was the villain of this piece, another Symbiote. However I was expecting Scream to be the Villain (The one that is on that Universal Orlando ride), however what we got was a Symbiote named Riot. I’m going to guess that the die-hard symbiote fans knew who that was, I surely didn’t. However once Riot (the leader, as told by Venom himself) reaches his perfect host (the evil Elon) we see that the villain can actually be somewhat decent. Yet it reminds me of a Prozd video “what if we have [Venom] but make evil [venom]” that’s basically how they decided to choose which symbiote they could do. They could have done Carnage or Anti-Venom as Fox did not have the rights to Spiderman, but more on that later.
I believe that everybody who did not experience Venom but just saw Tom Hardy playing Eddie Brock, believed him to be high on some drugs because he was sweating an awful amount and made Eddie seem really anxious. But in Tom Hardy’s credit who wouldn’t be like that if they were invaded by a foreign body and have them speak directly to their mind and know everything about them.
The action was decent, however very choppy there was a lot of cuts in the fight scenes and the chase scenes, but again to be fair they are dealing with a CGI body or parts of a body so I can kinda understand why they couldn’t do long continuous shots with Venom, I do like the way that Venom is designed but I just wish there weren’t many cuts, it made me realize i was in a movie screening and not part of the movie unlike hundreds of other movies that I have watched.
SPOILERS: POST CREDITS SCENE:
The post credits scene really irked me. I was expecting Cletus Cassidy for a possible spin-off/sequel and I got Cassidy, A.K.A Carnage, however I am not 100% that the actor Woody Harrelson won’t be able to pull of the sadistic serial killer that I am intrigued by. I feel I personally don’t know enough about Carnage’s alter ego to rant but I still feel like I should, even though the chances of there being a sequel to Venom are very slim with the current reviews from critics that it is getting. However, I am very excited that Carnage finally gets Screen Time, I just can’t get buff Woody Harrelson out of my head especially because I imagine Carnage to be thin and Lanky. And He looks like Bloody Ronald McDonald with that ginger wig on his head.
The second post credits scene was 2 scenes for the next Spiderman Universe - Into the Spiderverse. The first scene was Miles swinging away from a villain that was Purple … that’s the only way i can remember that villain, I just want to know who their name was. The next scene was Miles visiting Peter Parker’s Grave, in Miles’s universe I imagine that Peter came out as Spiderman which caused villains to go after those he loved most, and then Peter sacrificing himself to save them, causing his ultimate demise.

John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place
This post will have spoilers in it, however, major spoilers will be held off until the end.
John Krasinski’s a quiet place is a decent horror film, however if you’ve seen most horror films you will find this movie to be a little cheesy and just a copy. However, the difference which makes this title stand out is the fact that it is Quiet throughout the majority of the movie. The family (who we dont know the names of except for the youngest son, Ben) are living an isolated life on a farm shortly after a global tragedy has occurred. Monsters have ravaged the planet killing anyone who makes the slightest of noises, even a whisper.
The family (John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Cade Woodward) have lived as long as they have because the daughter, played by Millicent Simmonds is deaf and has a broken ear piece and they communicate with each other through sign language, thus they have made little sound and no monsters have attacked them before the movie begins.
The star of this movie is Emily Blunt and a nail. Emily Blunt is doing chores however in the middle of her chores, she accidentally pulls a nail out of the a step until it is pointed directly upright. The audience knowing this is anxious throughout the entirety of the movie, knowing that anybody could step on this nail, scream and doom the families life. John Krasinski has messed up by making the noise assassins less scary than a day to day hazard.
The so called monsters of this movie are scary theoretically, the worst part of having to live in the fictional universe with these monsters is that you have to live in quiet isolation of course. However, there appearance is also very intimidating, if you have ever played Borderlands 2 they are spiderant but much bigger. Or clickers from Last of Us. They are a hybrid of a spider and a person only with a hard shell acting as a shield to prevent most damage therefore their weakness is terribly hard to pinpoint.
However the credit of this movie should go to Emily Blunt for her acting, she saves this movie. Her acting makes you empathise with her. Her acting brings you into the world, she brings you into The Quiet Place. You are living this with her. However no other actor in this movie has this same affect, even my lovable John Krasinski.
My final pet peeve of this movie and the biggest spoiler is John Krasinski’s last scene. His final scene of the movie is the father saving his kids from these nameless monsters that are attracted to noise. He signs to his daughter that he loves her and then screams at the top of his lungs. this puts her to tears because throughout this movie it was her belief that he hated him, because at the beginning we see that Millicent Simmounds handed a NASA spaceship toy to Cade Woodward, however the toy had batteries in it and had sound if you played with it, during their walk back home Cade played with the toy, instantly bringing the monsters to his position and clearing him quickly, because of this Millicent thinks that her father hates her.

Ready Player One, Defining Our Future
First half spoiler free
1. Overview
Steven Spielberg’s greatest achievement is the creation and direction he has taken with the newly arrived Ready Player One film. The movie is set in 2045 in Columbus, Ohio, the world is bleak and grey, there is no life and poverty everywhere. The only solace is within a Virtual Reality game called The Oasis, created by James Halliday. The main quest in the game is to find the Easter egg, and with it you get the rights to Halliday’s company and trillions of dollars, as well as win The Oasis itself, however no one is able to complete any of the three challenges. However, that won’t stop Wade Watts.
The characters of Wade Watts and his new friend Artemis and his old friend H are the perfect rag tag team of misfits to find the challenges, solve the riddles and hopefully unlock the oasis. However they need their wits about them, yet lucky for them Wade has studied the entire life of founder James Halliday and is willing to put his knowledge and deduction skills to the test.
2.Opinion
This movie will bring out the inner child within you, which is what every reviewer will say about this movie, because of how true it is. You will point to your favourite characters appearing on the big screen, and your eyes will grow big like a toddler seeing their favourite dessert. This movie should be watched frame by frame to analyse each character from the already announced Iron Giant to some more hidden ones that will be mentioned later on in this review.
However, these characters appearing on screen, giving us a similar joy to that of our wedding day are not necessary, they are simply a cherry on top of this delicious cake/movie. This movie is about love and doing what is right. It is not as simple as that, but it is about the pleasure of what we do, such as watching our favourite movies, playing our favourite games, reading a comic book: i consider myself a big geek so this movie hit every correct note for me in these terms.
The other love that is heavily influenced in this movie is a more modern day Jack and Rose, the lovers meet through the internet, which already happens in our time today, such as couples meeting over a game of Overwatch, and becoming a Genji and Mercy couple in real life. This movie makes you need The Oasis, to find love, to find happiness. Yet the truth in the matter is, is that if you spend your life in a virtual world you wont know how close your true love could be, how close your greatest find would be. With cyber security you’ll never know a single name therefore in the virtual world you’ll be lonely. But if you were to remove the helmet and explore life you’ll find love and true happiness.
3. Spoilers (You have been warned)
This is the part where I might go childish and a bit giggly because this movie is amazing the writing is fantastic, the comedy is even greater, imagine if Hot Fuzz (Funny cop film with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) but the one liners were 5 times greater. The love story was sweet, however i will say that there was no reciprocation as far as i can recall. Artemis and Wade do kiss, and she kisses him back. However, throughout the 2nd challenge and continuing on from the film he keeps saying “I love you” however she does not say it back. However, please correct me if I am wrong as I do not remember her moments in the final scene.
There is still some appreciating I have yet to award to. The director himself, Steven Spielberg. I love that he has references to his own movies within this movie, such as Iron Giant giving the classic Terminator Thumbs Up and others.
The greatest one liner in all of cinema history, in my opinion, has to come from a simple minion of the enemy. As the battlefield rages on, the rebellion (Wade Watts and Artemis) fight the enemy IOI as they are trying to take control of The Oasis, however With the help of everyone else from the Oasis they manage to win the war. The one hit wonder is “Fuck Chuckie” and all will make sense if you see the movie, however some horror fans might understand the reference.
I might decide to do a Part 2 of this review, because I can most likely keep acting like a 7 year old when it comes to this movie. I would rate it 10/10. Hopefully I will see it a second time because of how much I love it and after which I will try to criticise the film.
4. Conclusion
I give this sci-fi film a perfect 10/10. It has my favourite fictional idols, heroes, villains alike, if i had to live in a world as bleak as the Earth in 2045 yet get to play in the Oasis I would in a heartbeat.
