I love when straight guy fans of things are determined to never see any gay subtext but there are certain characters that even THEY can’t outright deny are gay. One time I’m high school my friend was arguing w his dad about skysolo and all his dad could say was “well HAN’S not gay.” I think about that all the time.
#prev#that one trek reviewer who has very cishet white dude nerd opinions except for when it comes to spock being gay#and also revolver ocelot

obviously there were other factors at play but there’s something very funny about the fact that in the timeline where chakotay survived harry became a leather jacket-wearing mullet-having renegade and in the timeline where janeway survived he became a starfleet captain
#i think about libéral mom vs leftist dad janeway/chakotay dichotomy constantly. i hope you know this#star trek#voyager

disco elysium was ahead of the curve they managed to make a man so magnetic he seduced three quarters of the player base despite the fact he's canonically a dude highly prideful of having a big obnoxiously loud car

the voyager novel string theory can be a slow burn b’elanna/seven enemies to lovers fanfic if you’re reading it correctly. what if you injected the girl you hated with your nanoprobes and it created a physical and telepathic link that made you guys physiologically incapable of disagreeing with each other. and it made you guys complete each others sentences. and gain a greater and intimate understanding of one another…. alone together…what then
#WHAT DO YALL KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!!!#read most of it yesterday gonna finish it today methinks… will keep updated#star trek#voyager#txt

there’s kind of a shocking amount of reviews of the earlier seasons of voyager that include something to the effect of “seska could’ve been voyagers greatest villain but they totally ruined it and went off the deep end with her” which first of all i could never change anything about her i love a bitch whose only goal is to cause problems and ruin relationships. but second of all, at what point was she ever like, giving anyone the sense that she had any larger long term goals aside from wreaking havoc. you say she went through full genetic alteration to infiltrate the maquis and steal their secrets, i say it’s because she lives for the drama and her greatest dream in life was always to baby trap someone
