Honestly only thing that kinda irks me in this fandom (minus the nazi and racist stuff obvs) is that characters like Norway, Romano, England, etc are depicted in a lot of their ship art as, like, hating the person?? Like, either glaring or straight up hurting?

Like if it was specifically abusive nuance or just a small glare then fine, you do you but some people draw normal fan art that they claim is meant to be so fluffy and cute and omg they’re perfect and like this all the time and like, they are just fucking seething in the picture??? They’re hurting the other??

I say ‘kinda irks’ cuz realistically I ain’t gonna keel over and die so it’s not that deep but it’s something that kinda keeps me thinking for at least 5 mins after every art piece, like, that’s how you think their relationship would be healthy??

Oh definitely.

I would describe him as being very volatile at times, he has a mix of being very volatile and explosive and very sensitive.

He feels his emotions very strongly at all times, and so when he feels hurt by someone, he becomes very volatile and hard to cooperate or talk to. Less so with his brothers, but his friends (and America, though iceland would never count him as a friend because he actively dislikes him, atleast in the historical hetalia au)

And then he is very sensitive. He easily feels excluded or left out due to his very neglectful childhood and worries about it more. He's a very emotional guy, and I love him for that. He might sometimes make very big assumptions out of small things and cause an argument or act very cold or distant, the nordics know that iceland never means to be mean and that this usually just means he felt alone or excluded. But to everyone else, they might think of icelsnd as being very mean and very unpredictable. ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)

HongIce Highschool Covid induced muscles AU:

Emil and Leon are half way through their junior year when their area is hit by Covid, forcing everyone into lockdown. Emil lives on a farm, where he’s usually more interested in his phone than helping out. But due to lockdown restrictions, half of his older brothers are out of their extra work, and the Nordics are cutting back on electricity and unnecessary use of water to focus those resources mostly on keeping farm going. Emil is cut off from his friends and social media for most days of the week. He’s distraught.

Matthias and Lukas are dating, as are Berwald and Tino—though the four of them secretly share a poly relationship that they’re hiding from Emil.

With more free time but nowhere to go, Emil quickly gets bored of his backup reading and writing routine. So, reluctantly, he starts helping out on the farm, and even being pulled into Mathias’ exercising sessions.

Gradually, Emil builds up a bit of muscle. Though he’s still lean, with a banging waist and decent shoulders, his arms are no longer twigs, and there’s a hint of strength in his frame. Plus athletic legs fuck it im spreading my Biker/Skater/Snowboarding Emil propaganda.

Finally, the first lockdown ends, and they all return for the start of their senior year. Everyone finally seeing each other again, sharing what they’d gotten up to in the pandemic, laughs all around. They’re all catching up when Emils friends start to speculate about his slightly bulkier figure over his clothes, and how he isn’t as hunched over, you know the normal stuff that looks different when you get a bit of muscle. No one can quite pinpoint it since it’s such a small detail though.

It comes out in gym class, the boys are in the locker room getting ready, and Emil takes off his shirt to change. Leon catches sight of Emil’s new physique, and faints, he’s promptly diagnosed with bestie too attractive. No pulse, rip Leon Kirk Wang🔥🔥
