Does your nationality get portrayed in Hollywood/American media? what do you think about the portrayal?  I mean, my first thought is Korg from Thor: Ragnarok. classic Kiwi lad gsdkxcjgnsd. Which alcoholic beverage is the favoured one in your country? Probably beer. We have a lot of craft beer companies and more people drink it. We do drink wine too, as well as export it to other countries.

Would you like to come from another place, be born in another country? I don’t think so. My country is pretty damn awesome tbh. Only downside is how far away it is from other countries :c

Do you get confused with other nationalities? If so, which ones and by whom? All the god. damn. time. Mainly Australian but I’ve also been confused for being from the UK and from.....basically anyone not from New Zealand gbudjkxgnksdxg.

Most enjoyable swear word in your native language? We’re quite um...straightforward with our swear words hdfkcjgn. There are swear words in Maori but I don’t personally use them nor have I heard them enough to know without googling sooo yeah, just normal fucks, shits and c**ts.

If you could send two things from your country into space, what would they be? Pineapple Lumps (a NZ candy that’s chocolate and pineapple and it yummyyyy) and probably a craft beer that was produced in NZ...can you guess that I’m hungry? gbdfjxkcgdf

Favourite song in your native language? English is our native language but we do have an indigenous language called Te Reo Maori. There’s a beautiful rendition of the song ‘I See Fire’ by a group called Sol3 Mio that incorporates the haka (a traditional war dance and chant) into the song. (pssst, listen to it here >:3)

Most hated song in your native language? Hmmmm, good question gbdkgxnsdlxg. I don’t think there’s anything universally hated by a singer/band from NZ. I guess songs that get too popular on the radio and you can’t escape them because “home pride”.

Does your country have a lot of lakes, mountains, rivers? Do you have favourites? We do! There’s a lot of nature in our country uwu. If I had to pick a favourite, imma cheat a little bit and say Kapiti Island. It’s an island turned bird sanctuary with beautiful views and you can hike up it so that counts as a mountain, right? (FUN FACT: the far side of Kapiti Island is where they filmed the scene of the boat docking in King Kong).

Some people genuinely believe that New Zealand is a third-world country. Favourite dish specific for your country? Not necessarily specific to NZ, but fish and chips from NZ are so good ;w; there is also something called a hangi, which is a Maori term for a method of cooking food in a pit with heated rocks. I’ve only had it once but wow that stuff is good too.

A saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get? Hmmmmmm well, one saying I vaguely remember is “Andrew Hore is a hooker” (Andrew Hore being a former rugby player and the hooker part referring to the position he played in the sport). There’s also a commercial with the golden lines of “I’ve been internalising a really complicated situation in my head” and “you know I can’t grab your ghost chips”. Would recommend watching :3

What other nation is joked about most often in your country?  Australia. We are considered the younger brother country so it only makes sense I guess gudjxgnds.

I’ve been having fun drawing as of late while I hope the writing juices kick back into gear, so I thought I’d make the most of it duifgdfkdgd. Imma draw two boyos each from Ikesen, IkeRev and IkeVamp in their own little Halloween costumes. But, because that’s a lot to choose from soooo….I’ll need help~!

Please see the form attached riiiight here and choose which boyos shall get a Halloween costume in chibi form. I’ll keep the vote open for approximately 24 hours and only one vote per person.
