“So do you think they made a lot of money for the investigation then?” Nate asked the other the question as pulled out his phone from his back jeans pocket to respond to some important texts that had come through. @claystarters
Looking over the voice Ellie slowly nodded her head. “Of course they have. Wouldn’t have been this dragged out if money wasn’t involved.” She commented before noticing he was paying attention to his phone. Wondering if he was even speaking to her.

Eden rested on her hand. Watching the woman. “One mimosa, go on then. You’ve persuaded me. You’re really good at your job.” The Brunette rested her head on the side. “Something stronger? How rough do i look? Be honest with me.”
Ellie chuckled listening to the other, “That’s why they pay me the big bucks.” She teased with a wink. Her checks were pretty small so her customer service skills came into play so the big tippers felt compelled to leave her extra cash. “Not too rough but who doesn’t love to get day drunk on a Saturday?” She smiled as she placed the girls order on her computer.

Parker stretched as he walked in and sat himself on one of the bar stools. The week had been busy and he was ready for an easy weekend. He looked up at the voice, smiling gently. “Do you do grilled cheese here? Coffee? Is that weird?”
“Coffee I can do.” She started as she grabbed a mug from under the counter and placed it on the bar and poured the hot coffee into the mug and pushed over the creamer and sugar. “The grilled cheese I’ll have to talk to the kitchen about. Any substations if it’s a no go?” She questioned with a small smile. “I think we have a french dip going on today which is pretty good.” She suggested.

Kai gave a soft laugh, leaning his weight against the bar for a moment. “I mean? Uh, yeah. I have bad lifestyle habits,” he joked, giving her a grin. “I’ll get rid of some of the clutter. Then I’ll give the tables a wash over,” he said, starting to grab some of the glasses. “I had a few drinks. Chill night really. I just didn’t go to bed till this morning.”
Being thankful that the other was here to help with the work load, Ellie leaned back for a moment taking a small breather. “You and me both.” The girl spoke with a grin. “Life is too boring without some bad habits.” She spoke before pushing herself back off the counter. “Oh!” She exclaimed while laughing, “Whats his face... The dude with the long arm hair was in here earlier. Claiming you over charged him on his shots a few nights ago. Who takes a few days to come back about shot prices?” She laughed remembering his ridiculous over reaction.

Eliza took her seat, hand on her heard as she tried to ease her headache some how. “Erm, what would you suggest to cure a hangover?” She groaned at the other as she could barely read the paper without feeling sick. “Maybe something light and definitely nothing alcoholic right now.”
Smiling down to the girl, Ellie pulled out a coffee mug and the coffee pot, pouring hot coffee into the cup and passed it over to the other. Then swiftly pushing over the bowl of creamer and sugars. Followed with a glass of ice water. “Hydration and caffeine is the best thing.” Ellie smiled, “As for food, I find the greasier the better. Cheese burgers are always my goto, but I don’t know how much you’d be able to handle that right now.”

Hana had already been at Belle’s place earlier that morning, but refused any breakfast. Now that her stomach was more cooperative and her headache from last night’s party had almost disappeared she found herself more than just hungry. She slid into the free chair, smiling at the other woman.
“I haven’t been here before, so I thought maybe you could recommend me something? I am looking for a light breakfast, I still need to walk some miles today.” A short laughter left her lips before she grimaced to show her true feelings on this fact in a mocking manner. “I really miss the days of me having a car. This town is a lot bigger than it seems if you have to rely on your feet and the bus.”
“Hmm..” The girl hummed as she pondered. “I would suggest eggs and toast if you really want to keep it light. Some fruit on the side maybe?” She suggested before listening to the struggles of not having a car. Growing up Ellie’s main form of transportation were her two feet. They had a car but never had enough money for gas and insurance on it. “The hills don’t help either.” She added, “Where all do you got to go today?” Ellie wondered out loud while drying off one of the champagne glasses she recently washed.

Kai walked into the bar, sunglasses on his nose despite it being dark inside. “Hey, just me. Do you need any help?” He reached over, picking up some of the glasses. “I swear I’m still half drunk or asleep or something though. I was up late last night.”
Realizing who it was, her customer service voice dropped automatically. “When aren’t you up late.” She teased before relaxing back the smallest bit. “But yeah, cups are piling up fast.” Ellie added, “What did you do last night though, you look like ass. No offense.”

Eden smiled at them, raising a brow. “I’ve been looking around town for some decent fries and something fruity. Any chance you can help me out?”
“The fries are easy but something fruity.. Hmm..” She paused turning to grab the bottle of OJ she just opened. “I could do a mimosa with orange juice or I can switch it up and put pineapple juice in it. Add a pineapple slice for some fancy garnish.” She added before turning back to the customer in front of her. “Or do you need something a little stronger? Kiwi frozen marg?”

Late mornings on Saturday’s were the vain of Ellie’s work life. Bottomless mimosas and below average brunch options kept her busy. Though it was easy enough work opening champagne bottles and orange juice to keeping her customers glasses full enough so they’d leave a half decent tip.
Cleaning the bar off from her customers that just left, Ellie moved the dirty glasses and wiped the counter with her hot rag. Looking up once she heard the chair being moved. “Welcome in, what can I get started for you?” She questioned as she placed the glasses down in the sink, swiftly handing them a menu. @claystarters

JC placed a hand on his chest and mouthed ‘ouch’ as though he was hurt at her initial comment. “Listen, I don’t care how much it is. As long as you get me off that stage fast I’m happy with it.” He smiled. “Will i be seeing you on that auction stage today? Or are you literally here for the free drinks?”
With a shake of her head, Ellie huffed a small humorless laugh. “Absolutely not going on stage. Rather not set myself up for disappointment or embarrassment.” She started before her eyes landed back on the man in front of her. “But you’ll be great don’t worry” she winked playfully. He was handsome enough he’d get bid on without her help. “But yes, the free drinks. Don’t get a lot of open bars around here often so I like to take advantage when I can. It would be a pity to let the opportunity pass.”

“WAIT, HOLD ON!” HAIDYN’S VOICE WAS SOFT AS
she made her way down the street. “Slow down, you dropped something!” she called, her tiny feet barely catching up as she moved, her voice carrying slightly louder than she’d planned. That was one of the perks of being a nanny, you were used to having to carry your voice, however, sometimes she forgot just how loud her voice could carry. Moving closer to the other - her feet now moving more at a running speed - she felt herself begin to lost her breath and she hurried, catching up to them before slowing down. “Here. This is yours I think.” she held the item out towards the other and exhaled. “You dropped it back there and I didn’t feel right holding onto it.” @claystarters
Being out of cigarettes, Ellie had no choice but to make the small trip down to the gas station right down the road. Seemed silly to drive when it was only about a ten minute walk. - Headphones in, the girl made her way down the street. Nodding along to Childish Gambino, she mouthed the words to herself before hearing someone approaching her fast. Taking one of the headphones out she turned to see a nonthreatening redhead. Eyeing down to the others hands to see the money she was planning on using for her trip. “Oh fuck- Thank you.” She laughed before reaching out for the cash. “Most people would have kept it.” Ellie explained as she stuffed the money into her pocket once again.”

“So how does this date auction work then? I just have to stand there looking pretty and people bid then I go on a date with them?” He spoke with a puzzled look on his face not really sure what he had agreed to. “What if they don’t bid? That would be embarrassing.” @claystarters
Listening to the other speak with wine glass in hand, Ellie couldn’t help but grin. “Then that just means you’re ugly.” The slightly intoxicated girl teased. “No but I don’t know how these fucking things work. I’m here for the free booze.” She stated as she swirled the red liquid around. “If no one bids I have...” She paused to reach into her pocket to pull out all the money she had in there and counted out loud. “Five...Six ... Seven dollars and... 54 cents. Seven dollars and 54 cents. That’s all for you if no one bids.”

“Listen, I’m maybe 3 wine glasses deep already. This dress probably will not stay white today either but I’m here for a good time.” She smiled holding up her glass to the other person.” I brought my purse too and plenty of cash so I’ll be taking a cutie out on a date for sure.” @claystarters
“We need to get something a little stronger in your glass girl!” Ellie laughed watching as the other girl raise her glass. Matching her behavior, the brunette brought her wine glass up to clink with the others. Her eyes couldn’t help but to look down into the purse full of money and slightly furrowed her brows together knowing how hard it was for herself to come across enough to pay the rent. “Tinder is a lot cheaper.” Ellie joked before taking a drink of her red wine.

“How many bathrooms do you think there are in this place?” She glanced around the mansion she’d only ever looked at it from the outside. If she was honest, she’d only come here to have a nose inside the home. “I think there’s at least five. Houses like this always have huge bathrooms.”
@claystarters
“I bet the master bathroom has at least two toilets, a his and hers throne.” Ellie half teased, not being surprised if that was the case. Nodding her head along as the other spoke. “Well that’s the best place to do the party favors. Got to be able to fit a few people in there.”
