How do you fight? The 4 ways of fighting! 🤬😩👿🤐 . An argument or confrontation can be perceived as "unpleasant" or to be avoided, but there can be no connection or intimacy without confrontation. We quarrel with our partners or family, because we know that we can express such a taboo feeling as anger with a person that will (almost) always "forgive" us. At the base of our anger is a feeling of fear and pain, that comes out as anger and rage. . . There are 4 ways in which we express anger, for each one there is an "antidote" to limit the damage. . . 🤬1) Criticize: Attack, judge the person "You always talk about yourself, you are so selfish!" (Antidote) I Feel, and Request: "I feel excluded from the conversation, I need to share, can we talk about my day?" . . 😩2) Being a victim: Being defensive through victimhood. "It's not my fault we're fighting, you started it!" (Antidote) Responsibility: Take responsibility for the situation and your contribution "I can understand your point of view and how I may have irritated or hurt you". . . 👿3) Belittling: Lack of respect and consideration towards the topic and the person "What a stupid thing to get angry for!" (Antidote) Acknowledge : "I didn't realize that it hurt you, thanks for letting me know". . . 🤐4) Silent treatment: Avoiding, not talking, ignoring the situation "sulking" (Antidote) Managing and communicating emotions: "I can't discuss it now, I know it's important for you to discuss, but I have to take a break" . Sometimes I feel jealousy and envy towards people who I think are better than me, the confrontation irritates me, I feel threatened and I lose my self-esteem. Does it happen to you, too? . Jealousy and Envy are common feelings, even if there is a substantial difference between the two, we feel jealous when we think that something we have is taken away from us and we envy what we want for ourselves. . "Envy is a beautiful beast": when we envy someone it is an important signal of our being, we probably have dissatisfaction or we are looking for a change in our life, envy is camouflaged "admiration". 🌹 . I propose to you two ✌️questions that you can use to understand how envy can stimulate positive change in you. . 1️⃣ What do you envy and why? The thing you envy is maybe the physical appearance, but in the end you are looking for "love", or you envy success, money, but beneath you are looking for "freedom". . 2️⃣ If you can understand the missing value that underlies your "envy/admiration" are you willing to take action to get it?
