meet the winslow’s! like the kardashians, nobody really knows just /how/ the winslow’s came to be famous. way back when, miss marjorie ellis was a no name, then she married gerald winslow - a very well known athlete from way back when. when one of the oldest girls was in her teens/early twenties, a sex tape got out there… and it was all downhill (uphill???) from there. the family wasn’t known for gerald’s athletic abilities and awards, the family became known for the sex tapes, the scandals. and it wasn’t long before e! wanted to make a show about them. wake up with the winslows. the show ran from 2006 until 2013 when the family decided to call it quits. they’re still very well known, very much in the spotlight. the tabloids love them because their family is full of scandals. momma marjorie ellis-winslow is a socialite (who can totally mom-age some of the siblings if yoU WANT??) and poppa gerald winslow just sits back and gets annoyed by all of his crazy family??? lolol.

this is honestly all subject to change as more people join in on it and we figure out more details but yA. they don’t have to be inspired by any of the kardashians (but they surely can if you’d like) the family as a whole is just inspired by them?? xD they all need to look like they can be siblings with gigi hadid so cute lil blondies/light brown haired qts with light eyes ~ (i also picture that the thirty year old is the one with the sex tape when she was nineteen so 2005 then the show started in 2006??)

Love the big/little claim idea!

alright, so when sunburnt lips opens there are gonna be a couple things that are probably going to confuse you so we thought it would be good if we explained them now so you guys don’t have to waste time reading about them on the site when we know you want to jump right into your amazing plots....

Couple of Greek life ideas!

So I was in a sorority for three  years, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents about a few things I'd love to see incorporated/here's a few FYI's I thought could be useful xD

Philanthropy Events: So each soro/frat has its own philanthropy. Generally each house holds a big campus wide event as their major fundraising for their national or local philanthropy. Other chapters on campus are encouraged to attend each others' events, and so are school faculty and non-greek students. So I was thinking these could be good foundations for site events since they're typically pretty fun/standard events anyway. Examples: Date auction, "Mr. University" (men's pageant), Jeopardy, Balls/Dances, Talent Shows, Sports tournaments, Up All Night type events (like a danceathon or something).  So like if you were planning on having a Halloween dance or something, you could throw a houses' name on it so it's like "Alpha Chi Omega's Annual Fright Night Ball" or something and it could spur some more plot ideas. Some houses even host joint events, so it could be fun that way too!

Greek Week: is a week of competition between all the houses on campus. Each day has a different event and every house has to send a certain number or reps to each competition. At the end of the week the house that earns to most points wins something like a pizza party or $1000 towards their philanthropy. A lot of times the week has a theme too. One year my school had a "Legend of the Hidden Temple" theme and all the events/t-shirts were based around that. Event Ideas: Flag football game, campus wide scavenger hunt, keg race, dodgeball game, trivia.

Big/Little Reveal: This is always different for each house, but for the site's sake you could make it so that each house a similar tradition. A lot of times it's a week long lead up of gifts and hints that a big leaves a little at her dorm room followed by a big unveiling at the house. Usually the big knows who their little is but the little doesn't know until reveal night. A fun reveal is for the big to give the little some sort of clothing/jewelry that they have too and then you find your match and that's your big!

what would you like to see on sbl? accurate greek life information (I was in in a sorority so I get picky? haha). And a good mix of ages in characters, you know, characters from freshmen-seniors, not just a bunch of the same age.
