rk1k but markus is a fire elemental and connor is an ice elemental because of their respective elements they've never been able to touch other living beings since they either get burned or frost bitten to death. when they finally meet, they're able to experience the comfort of physical touch for the first time.

Markus: Does it hurt? Connor: No, it's just... warm. Markus: Is that bad? Connor: No, it's comforting. Am I too cold? Markus: Not at all. It's refreshing. I like this. Connor: I like this too.

sorry this suddenly plagued my mind and i couldn't focus on anything else until i drew it out. i SHOULD be working on other things but uhm i gave myself an hour to work on this so i could focus on what i need to focus on after. its very rough but maybe i'll polish these drawings up and make a comic or something in the future where i have more time (laughs at myself bc i never have more time just more wips).

One of the coolest parts about being a fan of fanfic is you can actually contact the author. And they will respond. And then you can message them nonstop until they allow you into their lives and then you’re becoming their beta reader and suddenly you know multiple authors of all types of fiction books and fanfic authors who will drag out their deleted fics for you to read at a moments notice.

Anyway. Comment on fics and message authors. It’s absolutely worth it.
