If I were to do a fanfiction with my OC Usami as Carrie, I would probably change a few parts of the story in order to fit with the My Hero Academia universe. I read the book a while back and listened to the musical a bunch and really like the plot and Carrie’s character.

While Usami has two parents, her mother would not be considered the most batshit of characters. I feel like her father, Ishimaru would be more of the Margaret White but with a few less loose screws. He’s the type of man who makes his daughter seclude herself from everyone else, believing that they will taint the future he has set up for her.

So he keeps her blind to things like menstrual periods in order to keep her pure. If I’m going to consider this an au of sorts, I’d probably cut Usami’s mother out of the picture and Ishimaru would always speak ill of her. He’d refer to her as a wh**e and sl*t whenever she’s mentioned. Her father is estranged and is very unloving.

He pushes forth his agenda on his daughter in order to keep her under his thumb. I’m not very religious and while I might feel like taking the extreme christianity plot devise, I don’t think it serves much for an MHA AU and would also be a little out of place for the universe.

Because of Ishimaru’s influence on Usami, she’s too scared to talk to people and is closed off. All of the class 1-a students are incredibly cruel because they think she’s creepy and weird. In order to make this au work, I’d probably use Bakugou as a relentless bully type.

In the lore for Usami, Mina Ashido is one of the her best friends, but I feel like she’d fit good with the role of Chris or maybe even an ex best friend type of thing. Kyoka Jiro doesn’t really fit the Sue archetype, so I would probably use Momo for that role.

Denki Kaminari plays a very important role in Usami’s overall backstory and is a love interest for her. I know him and Momo would probably never be in a relationship, I would still make him Tommy Ross. My main reason for this would be because Kaminari is described as one of the characters that brings class 1-a together like Kirishima, and just gives me those kind of vibes.

I’m not sure what else to put in this description at the moment since I’m still coming up with the basic characters and plot. When I do have more thoughts on this as an AU, I will probably update this description.
