How cool is this? "Grody Fett" by Nakai (age 8 ) with Amy del Castillo and DSKI-one. The mixed media monster is dedicated to Mr. Grody Shogun himself or as Nakai knows him: "Uncle Luke".

We received a great big box of artwork from our friends on Team Dankeschoen in Japan, and among the many treasures inside was the painting behind Kanna Inoue (pictured here).
There's so much more to show you. Keep checking back!

Remember the game of knockdown dolls or "Circus Punks" at amusement parks? Paul Cruikshank did, and he brought them into the world of contemporary art. Following in the footsteps of famous underground artists, his daughter, Corin, customized one for EARTH MOVEMENT.
You're looking at the BACK of the punk. To see the front, you'll have to come to the show :) EARTH MOVEMENT opens for preview on March 1st. That's THIS THURSDAY!

Our friends from Germany, Linus & Mathias (Toy Architects), contributed three wonderful pieces to EARTH MOVEMENT, and each canvas comes with a one-off flocked resin Cavy the Hamster! The designs may seem simple, but the details will amaze. For instance, the Hamsters feature tiny sewn tags that match the accompanying paintings. These are guaranteed to make people smile.
