today's retail therapy: I ordered a string of chili pepper lights for my kitchen.

(Is this how the themed kitchen thing happens? Am I destined to be the mom with the chili pepper kitchen?)

I feel like I'm in high school again -- it's a cloudy Saturday morning, I'm home on my computer scrolling tumblr. I'm in a comfy hoodie with a cup of earl grey tea. Listening to something lofi/chill.

Only now instead of my room to clean today, I have an entire apartment. There's still laundry to fold though; that hasn't changed.

It feels good to be blogging again. It was such a big part of my life growing up, and I thought it was something I was eventually going to grow out of.

it's the kind of night where I just feel like hanging out in some Greek ruins for a while.

Earlier this week I got my results from the NCLEX (passed!) and tonight I got a letter in the mail from the board of nursing that my nursing license had been issued.

This week I felt such a sense of academic freedom after so so many years of studying and preparing and learning. 🌠 It all finally paid off this week and it feels so good to be done. For now, at least.

I start my new job in 18 days. 👽 I activated my email address last night, and I already have homework for the first week of orientation. 📚
