GINGER SNAPS — a google docs template by beckysgomez !!

hello ! alright so i’ve been looking into google docs to put my muse list for my indie but couldn’t find one that served my purpose so i decided to make my own which you can find here ! however my beautiful wife ( @euphoriarph ) suggested to include a version with pictures for people that prefer that look which led to this version named after her !

this is a very simple list that was made for muse lists in mind but can also be used for connections list, relationships, really any type of list that you would would like to use for ! mind you this version might look a little funky on mobile but it still works the same just keep that in mind.

all the image sizing can be found on the doc and to replace them just right click > replace image so the format keeps the same. you’ll probably have to delete some spaces to fit your character’s names. if you find any hiccups and need some help on how to navigate it feel free to send me an ask.

Use pinterest to find a floor plan of your characters house or apartment! You just search ‘apartment floor plan’ and any other wanted tags, and scroll until you find the perfect plan! Now you can use pinterest, or any other website of your choosing, to find pictures that look like the interior and / or exterior of your house! Below is a list of rooms you could do.

Accessibility and You! Links and Resources

So, I wanted to do a short series on web development and accessibility. Then I realized that I can’t do that without a lot of yelling cursing gentle prodding, because Tumblr loves tiny fonts and ‘aesthetic’ blog layouts like a 19th century author loves commas. So instead, I wanted to compile a list of links for people to use in order to learn how to design with accessibility in mind at their own pace.

W3C/WAI These are the folks behind the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). I know WCAG reads like a legal document (because it is. web accessibility is covered under the ADA), so here’s a checklist I usually use when building on the job.

Yale’s Web Usability Page The source of said WCAG checklist above. Comes with some nice book recommendations.

The ADA Checklist Another good checklist to follow.

The A11y Project! Comes with a bunch of fun little tools and it’s own checklist. This project is community driven, and the documentation is a much easier read. Less legalese-sounding, more instructional.
