Ben Casnocha - Each individual to be able to enjoy life, liberty and pursuit of happiness

Ben is the author of the bestselling business book My Start-Up Life: What a (Very) Young CEO Learned on His Journey Through Silicon Valley, which the New York Times called "precocious, informative, and entertaining."

He founded Comcate, Inc., an e-government software company, at age 14. Ben's work has been featured in dozens of international media including CNN, USA Today, CNBC, and ABC's 20/20.

At a conference in Paris PoliticsOnline named him one of the "25 most influential people in the world of internet and politics".

BusinessWeek recently named Ben "one of America's top young entrepreneurs."

He writes prolifically on his blog which the San Jose Business Journal called one of the "Top 25 Blogs in Silicon Valley."

He's a commentator for public radio's "Marketplace."

Ben has given speeches at dozens of universities and organizations around the world. He has traveled to more than 25 countries.

He also co-runs the Silicon Valley Junto, an intellectual discussion society for business and technology executives. In his free time Ben enjoys playing chess, ping-pong, reading, and writing.

1. What's your dream?

My biggest dream for humanity is that each individual can enjoy life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

2. What inspired you to dream it?

I love life, I love liberty, and I love happiness, and I know I’m fortunate to have these things. There are many in the world who do not, and they ought to.

3. What's the impact that you intend to achieve?

In my life I hope to improve other people’s lives through entrepreneurship and writing.

4. Who would you like to be involved in this dream?

Everyone who can help!

Björn Herrmann - Give people worldwide access to education

Björn is the principal of Supercool School. Supercool School is all about building a new global infrastructure by doing for education what blogging has done for publishing. He started to engage himself proactively about 3 1/2 years ago with various initiatives such as Education for the Future & Transparency for Development with peace prize laureate Bibi Russell, with a startup called the Performance Network - an new administration tool for universities & companies, as a member of the ZEIT expert council for education.

Here's what Björn shared with us about him and his dream:

I am a dreamer just like you. I believe in the unlimited potential of every individual to become what they want to be - an incredible power within that can unfold by learning from the right people.

To give people worldwide access to education

2. What inspired you to dream it?

Maybe ignorance ... I am not sure. The inspiration is there and I am ready to inspire other people but I couldn't tell you where the inspiration came from. 3. What's the impact that you intend to achieve? I want to bring every single human being on a highway towards their pursuit of happiness. 4. Who would you like to be involved in this dream? We have a dream: The dreams of the people from Silicon Valley to be accessible worldwide

We are Catalina, Octav and Vlad, founders of Trigwee.com, the social network where you build your dreams and meet dreamers like you.

We designed Trigwee having in mind a purpose - people to know the dreams of humanity. Silicon Valley is a special area for the future development of the humanity, considering the importance of technology in today's economy. In the same time, this area is populated by highly creative and innovative people that make an important impact on our planet. That is why we chose to highlight their dreams with the help of this project. Knowing what they are dreaming about, anyone can get involved and contribute to the creation of a better world. There is also a question to be answered by the results of this project. Is there a connection between a person's, a community's dreams and their economical development? We are going to ask a couple of questions intended to explore the dreams of each person. We answered these questions ourselves, here they are: What's your dream? What inspired you to dream it? A broader dream, that people know the dreams of humanity and also the huge impact that entrepreneurs, students, artists, investors, tech guys, teachers from silicon Valley generate in the world. What's the impact that you intend to achieve? If anyone will know what dreams of Silicon Valley are, anyone could get involved in order to contribute to the creation of a better, more interesting world. Also, as a result, we intend to publish a book with the same name and donate the generated revenue.
