Hey just remember that there’s literally nothing wrong with being cis. Being cis isn’t lame, being trans won’t make you cooler, and you’re not a terrible person for being cis! Tumblr just has a toxic hivemind mentality, and thinks it’s okay to hate entire groups of people for no reason. Don’t let that get to you! If you’re cis, you don’t need to hurt your body and lie to your friends to make yourself feel “cooler” and “progressive”. You don’t need to go to the pain of coming out to people who don’t support you just so some fucks on Tumblr will like you. You don’t need to cling to labels that aren’t real or that don’t fit you, and you don’t need to get mad at people who just want what’s best for you. If you’re cis, you don’t need to say you’re trans. You’re still cool, and you can still be a cool cis person. There’s nothing superior about being trans. So, please, don’t pretend to be trans. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
