Sometimes I remember those two and I feel like I'm being strapped in the chest repeatedly

When you have a woman gushing about her love life and some psycho trying to be pals with you and there’s nothing you can do about it
The three of them gets into fights with each other often

it kinda reminds me of sibling tropes..

Might seem like a weird question but do you think Doflamingo cares for his crew?
Honestly, he does. Yes, he's a Celestial Dragon and is clearly evil, just look at what he does to Dressrosa- But as a great pokemon once said, "the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant." He may not show it often, and he may still view them as tools for his plans, but there is some level of compassion there. I mean, he said goodbye to Vergo when he knew he was going to die, you don't do that unless you care about someone. And he outright says they're his "real family." And clearly his crew care for each other, they all stepped up when one guy laughed at Pica and Baby 5 killed him for it (respect to her honestly.)
It draws parallels to Kaido, who, despite being a monster, clearly cares for his crew. The Lead Performers especially have his respect for life, seen with how he told Jack that he isn't weak, the minks were just too strong. And despite how they act, there is compassion between King and Queen - King was worried about him when he got attacked by Ryokugyu. And I assume Kaido cares for the Tobi Roppo and Headliners, just based on their positions.
You know who doesn't care about his subordinates at all? Orochi. If he cared about anyone other than himself, he would've at least protested to Kaido killing Higurashi, a member of his own clan, but as far as we can tell he didn't. And he is so quick to turn on Kyoshiro for killing Komurasaki, who he was literally going to kill himself; and Kanjuro for failing to kill the Akazaya. He's clearly unhinged honestly, he's so quick to snap at Fukurokuju and Kaido for "placating" him (don't even get me started on calling Killer "worse than useless" grrrrrrr)
#yeah I think its telling we meet caesar first#who also tries to get his subordinates to call him master and worship him#but becomes clear he doesn't care about them at all#then right after we see the difference with Doflamingo#not that he isn't using them or that he's a good captain but he doesn't need to trick them into caring about the way caesar does#they want to die for him#one piece#donquixote doflamingo#donquixote family#vergo one piece#kaido one piece#baby 5#king the wildfire#jack the drought#queen the plague#beast pirates#kurozumi orochi#kurozumi kanjuro#kurozumi higurashi#fukurokuju one piece
