happy holidays everyone <3 i’ll be very straight to the point with this post as this is already long overdue, but until further notice i’m discontinuing this account.

just as a bit of an explanation for my disappearance, i haven’t been in the right mindset to do anything quite frankly. school has me occupied, my grandma recently passed away, my mental and physical health is definitely deteriorating, and i’ve just needed time and space from everything hence why i’ve distanced myself from not only social media but also in person friendships and things like that. not just for myself but for the people i interact with because i realize the things i’ve been going through have likely affected others poorly too.

thank you to everyone who’s supported me and my account, i truly love all of you and i’m sorry for just leaving as if none of it mattered. this account and all the friendships it’s allowed me to make really do mean so much to me.

to anybody reading this, i hope you have a happy holiday season and i wish you the best of luck with everything! you’re so loved.

These are just the last three fics I wrote. I appreciate the likes, believe me I do, but you have to understand. Likes do nothing for content creators. It’s the reblogs. Because that’s how you find shit on your dashboard. Through reblogs. Not likes. This isn’t twitter or tiktok or instagram. This is a website that’s run by the reblog system.

Reblogging helps content creators put their stuff out there. Why do you think so many people stopped writing fanfic and creating beautiful fanart and edits? It’s because they put in hours of work and don’t get nearly enough notes for their masterpieces. Yes we do this because we enjoy it but like...some validation won’t hurt. A boost of confidence here and there might be all someone needs to finish whatever thing they started and left.

In all honestly I am very drained right now lol. I had surgery a few days ago and I’m still recovering, still getting nauseous and drowsy from pain meds unfortunately, but I think I’m done with the worst of it (hopefully). I’m going to be active again! (slowly but surely)

In case you haven’t noticed, my period of inactivity lasted much longer than expected. I apologize for going away for so long without an update.

During my break from tumblr, as I mentioned before, I was wrapping up my school year as well as focusing on my athletics. I ended up getting promoted to varsity which I was extremely excited for and things got much busier until I unfortunately ended my season a bit short with a torn acl and meniscus :( I’m currently recovering from the injury and I’ll have surgery in 10 days. From then on, I’ll be doing physical therapy and rehab for the next 6-8 months to fully recover in time for next season!

So with that being said, I didn’t expect to be inactive for so long, but now that the school year and soccer season is over, I should have much more time on my hands to run this blog and write! But a lot of my time and energy this summer will be put into rehab for my knee injury so please be mindful of that as well.

Thanks for sticking with me and thank you to anyone and everyone that sent in an ask <3 I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get to it quickly. Love you all and missed you!!! Especially my moots </3 sobs.
