you, broke: I did a ton of research on geography and climate to design an extremely accurate and highly realistic fantasy map
me, woke: In this fantasy universe I wrote the sun actually does revolve around the earth even though that makes no sense, because I thought it sounded cool

friendly reminder to write stories for you. you explain your idea to a friend and they’re not over the moon about it?? you’d really like to write it just because it’ll be fun and someone tells you not to?? you wanna use a concept you know is important to you right now and could really help you cope and they tell you that this “trope” has been overdone??? FUCK IT. write that stuff. do what’s best for you. do what you want to. your personal insecurities are more than tropes. what you need to read will never be overdone. if someone doesn’t like your idea, it doesn’t matter, you like it. you might be the creator but that doesn’t mean you can’t be the audience and it certainly doesn’t mean you can be kept from creating if that’s gonna help you heal

I try not to think about 15x19 and 15x20 much, but the presence of Miracle the dog, and Dean’s attachment to him was a bit puzzling to me because throughout the whole show, Sam had always been the one to want a dog. Not that Dean doesn’t like dogs, but he has repeatedly shown that he doesn’t want to raise a dog. Reflecting back, I think I now see Micracle’s symbolism. Sam always wanted a dog because dogs symbolize a permanent home and family. Dogs can’t grow up on the road and in motel rooms. (As an aside, children can’t either. @john) Even in the episode “Dark Side of the Moon,” Sam’s heaven had memories of his dog Bones who kept him company for the two weeks he was away from Dean and John. And of course in Season 8, Sam’s “normal” life without Dean includes a dog. Meanwhile, Dean has shown fondness for dogs, but ultimately the fondness is overshadowed by the burden of his hunter lifestyle. Even in “Mystery Spot,” Dean goes to pet a dog, and ends up being mauled to death. And of course, Dean is killed brutally by Hell’s hounds. Dean even has to let Colonel go who he bonds over in “Dog Dean Afternoon” because the hunter life is “no life for a dog.” All this to say, Dean’s commitment to raising Miracle symbolized Dean’s hope for the life he wanted but couldn’t have because the burden of having to save the world constantly. He wanted to live, and live comfortably. No I don’t think he would have given up hunting entirely, but adopting Miracle showed Dean’s character growth. He accepted Miracle as a sign that good things do happen in the world, especially that good things can happen to him. And, for the first time, Dean was able to loosen the burden of the hunter lifestyle that his dad and God had shackled him to. His commitment to raising Miracle in a stable home is a testament to Dean’s growth. In light of this, Dean’s death is specially and even more unnecessarily cruel. He reached his character growth only to be killed for the sake of a symmetrical narrative? (Dean and Cas dying while Sam lives parallels the s5 finale where Sam dies and Dean and Cas live). Yes, Dean didn’t have God’s fixed luck anymore, so what? Does that mean all his heroism and fighting skills were ALL because of God? If so, the last 15 season build up the free will vs destiny debate is completely pointless. The man defeated God himself, vampires should have child’s play! The only reason Dean died is because the writers obsessive need to draw parallels. In my heart, Dean’s character is so beautiful that he has transcended the bad writing that constantly tries to destroy him.

On Writing is literally a godsend. I always read it before starting a big project.
Literally none of my story ideas come with a plot, ever. WITHOUT FAIL, it’s always just an Aesthetic, like two and a half characters, some very, very vivid settings, and a weird concept. Never plot. Not even an inkling of a plot. My brain tosses me this cool stuff and is like welp i’ll be back in 4-5 business months

Outline for Marvel Projects and their writers
Avengers, 7 issue limited series. The first six issues focus on one Avenger per story, and the seventh finally Assembles the team.
Chapter 1: “THE HULK,” written by me
Chapter 2: “CAPTAIN AMERICA,” written by me
Chapter 3: “IRON MAN,” written by me
Chapter 4: “BLACK WIDOW,” written by me
Chapter 5: “HAWKEYE,” written by me
Chapter 6: “THOR,” written by me
Chapter 7: “EARTH’S MIGHTIEST HEROES,” written by me
As you can see, we could use more writers. So please, if you see this post and you’re interested in writing Marvel comics, hmu! Everyone’s welcome. I’ll add anyone who wants to join into our discord server. I’m basically writing these first 7 stories to act as stepping stones for these characters. Jumping off points.

I’m in love with Todd McFarlane’s Hulk! He’s the first artist that comes to mind when I think of a Hulk that doesn’t just look like an exaggerated proportioned green/grey skinned man. He looks like a monster.

Why don’t more people talk about this scene from Joss Whedon’s, “The Avengers?” It’s literally a perfect scene. Maybe this line gets overshadowed by Steve coming in? But no, Steve coming in directly after this, might actually make this better! Idk, sound off!

Wrote a MARVELous comic book today!! Starring, “The Strongest There Is!” The Incredible Hulk! Actually, the issue at hand was mostly just about Puny Banner, trying not to become The Hulk. Trying to keep the monster contained. Bottling up his emotions and anger, trying to help people. Until a nightmare about Betty Ross drives him over the edge.
I love The Hulk.
