Skeleton Crew Episode 7 Predictions

I’ve gotten all caught up on Skeleton Crew and am very excited to see how the show ends. With that said, I do have a some predictions for episode 7:

After escaping the trash compactor with the Onyx Cinder, the kids discover that Jod has gotten the aide of a group of pirates to raid At Attin.

Wim suggests to the group to get the Jedi for help. So the kids head to either Coruscant or another planet that is supposed to have a Jedi temple.

However, the kids don’t find any Jedi. Instead, the kids learn about the fall of the Old Republic and the Rise of the Empire. Additionally, the kids learn about the extermination of the entire Jedi Order.

Wim has a breakdown upon learning about all of this and blames himself for the mess the kids are in (in direct contrast to episode 2).

However, Fern, Neel, and KB all show support for Wim and give him a “You Are Better Than You Think You Are Speech”.

Wim gets inspired and says he has a plan. Cue end of Episode.

Side Note: Maybe we learn more about Jod’s backstory. Like, was he trained in the Order at any point. If so, did he leave the Order (like Ahsoka) or did he go into hiding to escape from Order 66?

Chances are that this is in no way the actual plot to episode 7, but still wanted to share anyway.

I agree completely. It was important to see the kids resolve disagreements and work together to get out of a dangerous situation without the presence of an adult.

Possibly a hot take, but I am so glad we got an episode with very little Jod in it. Seeing the children interact without him present advanced their character development more than episodes 2-5 combined. (I'm also excited to see how this new group bond affects how they interact with him when they're all reunited!)
