A teacher of mine once said, "You will forget everything that we are teaching you but there is one thing that will stay and that is you being educated". What my teacher said stayed in my mind but I thought of it as nothing but just a word of wisdom. As I grew older, I began to realize what those words really mean. As I grew older, I realize that you indeed forget what you have learned and being educated is what actually stays. New Era University is a university that helped me understand how a school became our second home. I saw how every people helped each other out and how they show love. I, myself felt that I am secure and cared well in this university. I feel more at home rather than just at school. I feel loved and that's just where I want to be.

Sometimes, I feel like my everyday life is boring. I just do what I always do; wake up, get ready, go to school, study, go home. I sometimes look for new things like going to places I feel like going and just relax myself for a while. I sometimes feel that I'm sick of doing the same things over and over again. But when I think of the people I'm going to see, the people who are important to me, the people who always make my boring day so exciting, I feel alive again. I feel the energy to keep moving forward. I feel motivated to go on. They make me wanna do extraordinary things.

Is taking care of others considered sanity? For me, of course. Taking care of yourself is a good thing but if you take care of others, you are an adequate human being. Showing that you care for others, not just to yourself, is part of living. Finding shelter in the arms of people or other living things. Sometimes, we have to be selfless and give people the love and care they deserve because when you do good, great things will come back to you. When you do great, a blessing will be given to you. Every living thing deserves love. No matter what you are, what your color is, what bad things you have done, you deserve love. Every single one of us does.

Another famous qoute says that "The way to a person's heart is through their stomach" and that quotation never failed to show me how accurate it is. I noticed people who are moody, sad, or even angry, you just offer them food and the negativities that they feel will lessen. A restaurant that is a favorite of me and my family is Kuya J's restaurant. We like the hospitality of the crew there and we love how their food tastes. Though sometimes it takes a while for them to serve their food, it is worth the wait. Also, the ambience of the place is so relaxing. You will definitely feel at home here and there is no place like home.

There is a famous quote that says, "A journey to a thousand road begins with a single step". And I believe, it is stepping out of your shell and begin to explore new places and things. It is meeting new people and learning to let them be part of your life. Letting them in your heart. I also believe that when you are with one of the most important people in your life, you'll be able to create unforgettable memories that you will treasure forever and those kind of memories will linger no matter what happens. Travelling is better when you have someone to share it with. It is when you enjoy the things with people who are dear to you and I think that's the most beautiful and important thing to have when you travel.

It was indeed a very beautiful world that you have created. Everything was perfect the way they were made. You gave us life and happiness. You gave us unconditional love. All was enough.

But what we have done, we hope you can forgive. Hatred spread in every heart of us. We are being controlled by some things called envy, anger, greed, close mindedness.

Our actions became unforgivable but I beg you, help us get through this. Give every one of us the hope that we all lack. Help us end wars and let peace mend this world. Put some tenderness in the bitterness that we carry. We can’t do this alone, we need You. This world needs You.

How thankful I am to live in a place where there is a fresh breeze of air. Where the ambient is very calm and relaxing. Where all you can hear are the sound of the birds, chirping.

So little people and so many trees. Whenever I am stressed, they keep me at ease. They help my mind think clearly and they make me happy. When it is in the middle of day, they shelter me. Trees are so important to every single human lives. They give us almost everything. They give us oxygen, cold winds, houses, and even foods.

What a wonderful creation they are. It is amazing! Imagine if the entire world is full of trees. It could be like our community. It could be like sleeping on the clouds. It would be truly stressfree.

The 21st century is a generation where in technology became more high tech. The mellenials can't seem to catch up with all those stuffs. Some can't even seem to figure out how those gadgets work. Generation Z looked down on the mellenials because of their lack in knowledge about technology.

The mellenials or generation Y was a generation crawling with responsible people, people that has proper etiquette, people that are dedicated in their future and life, and people who are willing to help others. What happened to us?

I always here some teachers saying that they are our second parents and I always wonder, on what aspect? Since grade school that question remained in my mind and it remained unanswered. I have compared how my parents act and the teachers. I can say that they have similarities but there was more on the dissimilar side. Teachers and parents were very unlike. Then, in senior high school, the answer to my question is slowly appearing.

I began to see vividly how the teachers became our second parents. It is because like our parents, they also want what's best for us. They want us to learn. They want us enhance the knowledge we have. They wanna save us.

We may see them struggling but believe me when they see us, they stand tall as if it was nothing. They show us how they are strong and confident. We get disciplined, but don't we all need that? They discipline us because they love us. They wanna redeem ourselves, like every other hero will.

The euphoria when you're going to a place you have been dreaming of is one of the best feelings. At first, it was a goal and then that goal turns into a reality where that reality turns into an unforgettable journey. Admit it or not, we treasure this kind of journey.This journey where you felt swooned by the beautiful sightings. You felt astounded by all the wonderings. This journey where you just can't help loving the breeze of the province trees. Where you enjoy when the ocean waves touch your skin. And most of all, where you feel the warm arms of your beloved kin.

Going to an unfamiliar place and discover is fun. But it is more fun when you are travelling towards something; to your family. To the place you love, to the people you love, and to where you are loved. Because family is what makes this journey unforgettable. There are tons of memories to cherish. Unforgettable moments that cannot be buried. Why waste an exciting journey alone? Be happy with the one's you love. Be happy with family.
