the one critique I had for dominion was young charlotte having a sloppy london accent, not pronouncing her t’s and having lazy enunciation and then older charlotte having an overly perfected accent, pronouncing her t’s and sounding like she’d grown up in a completely different place in london.

i know lex made a few mistakes and is a flawed character but let us never forget that she saved everyone’s lives in that control room

also it’s a minor detail but personally for my portrayal I write lex as a lesbian and I think it makes more sense for her to have a crush on ellie and actually her obsessiveness and demand for attention regarding alan is due to her parents divorce (mum has custody so likely not a great bond with their father) and seeing alan as a strong potential father figure in the time of uncertainty with her own father (which I think works better? and is ironic bc of alan’s total lack of interest in being around kids.)

gonna be writing a meta on this but the movies never talked about how the kids suffered after the incident. and judging by ellie in dominion saying she still has nightmares, I can only imagine how bad it must have been for the kiddos.
