gonna be writing a meta on this but the movies never talked about how the kids suffered after the incident. and judging by ellie in dominion saying she still has nightmares, I can only imagine how bad it must have been for the kiddos.

#lex having nightmares when she’s split from Alan #bc he was the only adult she could trust at that time #having extreme mistrust of adults in general after being left in the car #the trauma…#GOING INTO THE KITCHEN and interacting with items at home and just #having flashbacks or the sound triggering a reaction #I think she’d be scared of animals for a while #but thinking about her jw verse where she becomes a conservationist #shows maturity and that she’s grown up and has developed a respect for animals #ooc.
