Some fun details and explanations:

Because of Cole’s background in music, theater, and performance, his outfit is more inspired by Kabuki theater.

Jay has the most historically accurate ninja outfit overall. On his belt are teru teru bozu (rain dolls) of him and Nya!

Zane’s outfit is suited towards archers, due to his precise and accurate nature.

Kai is closer to what a samurai would wear. His lion design is accurate to the in-show emblem!

Lloyd isn’t actually a ninja or warrior- instead he is a daimyo, or feudal lord. His ninjas answer to him and do his bidding, and this is a reference to Kai’s whole “meant to protect the green ninja” speech in season one. He is arguably the most powerful and important figure in Ninjago, so it only felt right to give him a position of power.

Nya, Pixal, and other team members will be added as the series progresses! I’m an og fan (i watched season one’s original run as a itty bitty kid) who just returned to the fandom, and am currently finishing up season two rn lol

“Alejandro can’t stand Owen when he and Noah start dating” yeah yeah yeah…how about Owen and Justin are dating and this insults Alejandro on a deep, spiritual level. This town ain’t big enough for two gorgeous men who competed on Total Drama.

Cue the Justin v. Alejandro beef that ONLY takes place behind Noah and Owen’s back, since they have to play nice for their boyfriends.

Alejandro dies because of the volcano. God, who sounds irritatingly similar to Chris McLean, tells him that he was a bad person, but was good for ratings, so instead of hell, he gets to be reincarnated.

Alejandro is overjoyed. A second chance! He can win it all, maybe get the girl and stick it to his shitty family.

He is reincarnated.

He is reincarnated as a fast food worker- after he lost Total Drama on International TV.

This can either be an Alejandro redemption, where he becomes a better person after being forced to work with other people and gets with Heather/Noah/Tyler/etc, or a total comedy/crack fic where he ends up coworkers with the rest of Team Chris is 4x Hot through sheer dumb luck and crashes out every 3 business days

Lightning is such an underappreciated character imo. He was a finalist and yet I barely see ppl mention him! He was one of my ROTI faves; his one-liners were so funny and he gave off a threatening aura in the finale when he needed to. The angst potential in this man is also crazy, imagine having to go home to your father after losing his championship rings on international tv
