Your passions can pay the bills...
So, 2-years in, The Go2Girl is 5-months away from having their own showroom.
For those of you who listened to my radio interview on heart FM with Kim Cloete, you would know that this is my new business & another passion of mine. The Go2Girl is a collection of pieces, whereby we resell previously-loved, designer wear, as well as a full styling service for all the fab events you attend, & this includes the hire of garments, at very affordable prices.
What this post is also about, is that we do closet cleanouts, so if you have any pieces that no longer serves you, give us a shout. We will pay you for your unused clothing, accessories & footwear.
A wonderful story that makes me smile, is that a lovely, well-traveled lady, called me to do a closet cleanout for her, & by the end of it, I had a new Client who I now shop for, style for her events, as well as supply her with a hair & make-up artist for all her special occasions.
This is a story that I did not share in my interview yesterday, but Kim & I chatted in-depth afterwards about it. There are so many young women, newly graduated from high school, who perhaps do not have the finances to go to University, & are stuck with doing nothing. Pull out the entrepreneur in yourself, & create something from a passion you have, that can pay the bills. The world is your oyster.
