Hi, first of all, thank you very much for looking at my blog. This is a blog where I review movies, old and new, as a hobby. I really enjoy movies and thought, 'Why don't I give this a go.' My favourite three movies are (in no particular order) Back to the Future, Terminator 2 and Remember the Titans . If you want to ask a question or have a suggestion please feel free to do so using the 'Questions & Suggestions' tab. Thank you.

A Quiet Place (2018)
Directed by John Krasinski
Straight up this movie is brilliant, just go and see it.
This movie had me actually sitting on the edge of my seat. I have not been more engaged in a horror movie as I don't find a lot of them interesting. The movie is original in every sense of the way. In a time of original horror movie ideas, like Get Out (2017), I hope we see more different horror movies that will hopefully be recognised for awards. This is definitely one of the must see movies of the year.

Ready Player One (2018)
Directed by Steven Spielberg, Based on the Book by Ernest Cline
Wow. Put simply this movie is an exhilarating nostalgia trip from beginning to end with no scene slowing down or wasting time. This genre blending movie can only be described as a action, adventure, comedy, thriller, romance that is 90% CG animation. There are two expertly told stories one in the real world and one in the Oasis that blend into one even better story. Steven Spielberg's classic directing and all the actors and actresses that bought this movie to life make this an instant classic and maybe of Spielberg's best, with some serious Goonies vibes.

Bad Neighbours (2014)
Directed by Nicholas Stroller
Bad Neighbours, or Neighbours, was the old movie that got pulled out of the hat today. I'll start of by saying I'm not a huge fan of comedy movies but I am a fan of Seth Rogen and Zac Efron, so it made the movie slightly bearable. Let's start of by saying that the plot of this movie is pretty much non-existent. Let me explain the plot, a bunch of college kids move next door to a couple, who really enjoy doing sexual activities in front of their baby, that want them to keep the noise down. They don't listen, surprise surprise, and end up doing a bunch of stupid stuff while trying their best at making pop culture references. This movie’s bad story, along with its bad jokes, are worth a miss if you haven't seen it already.

Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018)
Directed by Steven S. DeKnight
Pacific Rim: Uprising is a visual masterpiece. The CG and special effects are the best of the best. If you compare the visuals to other movies that rely on the same effects, for example ‘Justice League’ (2017), you can see how insanely good the visuals are. However, the rest of the movie is average. There are many jokes that feel forced, unwanted and just don't work. The story works well although there are some obvious plot holes and some not very obvious plot holes, there are also point during the movie where you question the direction the story is going. Scott Eastwood is the star of this movie as, sadly, everyone else feels robotic and stale when giving there lines, which also feel out of place most of the time.
