Well here it is. Very proud to release my mix for the month of June. Deeply inspired by my trip to Detroit, this mix contains some of my favorite tunes from that weekend as well as many new gems I've found. Focusing on flawless transitions and lots of loops, I hope to take you all on a nice music journey. Hope you all enjoy and tell a friend or three as well!

Jamie XX - Sleep Sound

While the xx is busy playing a residency of 25 intimate shows at New York’s Park Avenue Armory, the band’s ringleader Jamie xx still found time to release a new track.

The track, “Sleep Sound,” is quietly beautiful, filled with abstruse melodies that swirl and fade; it manages to sound both sparse and overflowing simultaneously. The gently emotional track plays like the xx at its best and could as easily soundtrack a gallery opening as a shopping trip to an uber-hip boutique… and, in fairness, it probably will.

“Sleep Sound,” was originally debuted late last year during a BBC 6 set by Jamie xx and will be released on a forthcoming 12″ single along with “Girl” on May 5 via Young Turks.
