A nod accompanies her pout as the nun looked up the orange haired girl blinking at her in what seemed to be a mixture of confusion and disbelief. This girl nearly stepped on her too, but that was irrelevant to her at the moment (and it wasn't like you could blame the other for having done so in the first place) .She was too tired to comment any further, but what the other had said summarized it all for her anyway.
Hungry. Yes...that was how she felt. Hungry...no...famished.
The only response the other gets for her logical answer was a sigh. Index rolled her eyes and shifted her gaze away to stare listlessly at the foliage of dappled leaves above her. "But I'm tired...and hungry. I don't think I want to move from my spot here. Besides, the cement here is actually pretty comfortable. Not too hot...not too cold...its just right..."
Forgive her oh orangehaired girl. Clearly she is not thinking straight. Well that, and the combined efforts of fatigue and hunger had impaired her normal train of thought.
"Actually if you're not busy care to join me? Its really comfortable I tell you! It helps me think clearly too."
She definitely needs some help, this one.
"Hey wait...I think I know you."
Index looked up at the girl with scrunched up eyebrows. "You're that girl this weirdo who mass messaged everyone was talking about. Er...you're that idol...Momo. Momo Kisaragi right?" She took out the silly contraption the principal handed out to her the day of her admission and squinted at the screen. "Well that's what the weird says anyway..."

✽—; After the second island had been made accessible to students and revealed Hope Peaks Academy, this place only felt more dark. Despite the sun shining brightly almost every day, that building gave off a nightmarish aura. Simply thinking of that place made the hairs on the back of her neck stick up. It seems like this island was more than what it she had thought and many other things had happened here. Momo didn’t even want to think about what could have possibly happened before she arrived here, whatever it was was horrid.
✽—; Instead of allowing that unsettling feeling she had about this place affect her, Momo tried to remain as optimistic as possible. Of course sometimes the despair just got to you. The idol exhaled and walked down along her usual route, while avoiding the bridge to the second island. She followed the path the connected all the area’s now available. It was almost a relief watching some of the other students be able to act as normal as they could in this situation and it motivated her to do so as well.
✽—; While walking along the cement path she nearly tripped over an oddly dressed girl laying on the middle of the path. If the girl hadn’t made that noise just before she may have tripped right over her. After noticing her presence Momo came to a halt and looked down at the girl who now seemed to be glaring at the orangette. The idol stepped back a few steps feeling someone threatened by the pouting girl. E-Eh..? Did I do something wrong? Momo thought as she found herself glancing to the side to avoid looking into the other girl’s eyes. Maybe she was upset about nearly being stepped on? Though it didn’t seem like that was bothering her. It must have been something else.
✽—; Finally the girl murmured a few words and Momo looked back at the white haired girl. “…Hungry?” she repeated the words to ensure she heard correctly. The orangette blinked, something like that was what made her lay in the middle of the path pouting like that? If she was hungry why not get herself some food, the cabin must have been fixed by now. “I don’t think sitting there pouting like that is going to help you with that.”

Index waved her hands around, panicking like a child caught with her hand taking out the last cookie from the jar. Emerald optics scanned their surroundings, desperate for someone to come and save her from the ongoing spectacle. As it happens however, there was not a soul in sight save for her...and the faulty vending machine obviously.
The torrent of sodas however, seemed to send an uncanny mental image to her brain. To be specific, an uncanny mental image of a certain classless woman who shall remain nameless, known for her ability to control electrical currents. The former's leg smacking the vending machine from the side made the nun have some sort of epiphany, and as if channeling her inner "classless woman" , Index took a step back and kicked the vending machine in the same way she did earlier.
"Nailed it!"
Her triumphant yell reverberated through the empty hallway as she pumped a fist into the air. While she did not exactly expect such a violent means to end her endeavor, it did. The torrent of soda cans ended as fast as it had started, and the only noise following her outburst was the final soda can the machine had barfed out, rolling away from Index and into the closest wall.
Index breathed out a sigh of relief and whispered her words of gratitude to the classless woman, wherever in Academy City she could be. It would seem as if Index had a little more respect for her now. She then knelt down and started to gather the soda cans littered around the ground, picking them up one by one and placing them on a bench just beside the vending machine.
"Huh?"
Now that her focus was off the soda cans, Index was now able to grasp the aura of the area before her much more easily. Naive and fragile-looking she may be, but her role as the Library of Forbidden Grimoires was not just for show. Even for one who had cloaked his presence, he was still felt by the young blunette (though still, with some difficulty).
"Er...hey. There's someone there right?" Index called out to the one hiding behind the nearest wall and pointed at the soda can. "If its not too much of a bother, can you please give me that soda can rolling by your feet?"

The assassin had to put his guards up, he couldn’t generally let down his guard in the wake of everything. Stupid stuffed bear, stupid everything! This was kill or be killed situation. This was the sort of stuff that one would watch in a film where the delicate one dies first and the joyful couple survives, discovering that the young lady is pregnant and carrying on with a long and upbeat life despite the fact that all their companions had been killed by a man wearing a mask and wielding a chainsaw. If all other options run out and he’s being trapped up against a wall with a sword or anything sharp pushed to his throat, then Kalluto would be more than euphoric to drive papers into the midsection of his attacker. However that would just wind up with him getting caught out, wouldn’t it?
The rules written in the I.D card said that you had to kill and not get caught, meaning that whoever was brave enough to would have to leave absolutely no evidence at the crime scene.
That thought alone brought a smile upon his face. It has been a while since he got his hands dirtied. However, it will take time. He mustn’t act too soon, after all, he had to explore and learn about this place just in case he needed to hide (though he’s sure hiding won’t be necessary) or stuff a dead body in, whichever comes first.
Small feet noiselessly pounded against the ground as a petite figure sprinted through the campus, scanning everywhere around him. His movement instantly ceased when he heard aluminum hitting ground, promptly disguising his aura and taking cover behind the closest wall where he could see the guilty party for all the fuss. What’s with all the—. His mouth hanged open when he saw the vending machine coughing out a torrent of soda cans, and the culprit was just standing there, doing nothing!
Kalluto thought about whether to help her or not, rather all he did was watch as the vending machine went crazy. Somebody may pass by and help her, he wasn’t obligated to help others anyway… unless he was told to. As much as he wanted to simply remain on his spot and watch, the sound was beginning to get more irritating as time passed.
Just kick it again or something…!

An irritated grunt escapes the blunette's lips as she ceased her pitiful attempts at reaching for the Student Handbook. She leapt back, baring sharp teeth all the while at the tall shelves as if it was the very cause of misfortune descending upon her in the form of her height- or lack thereof.
Folding her arms across her chest, Index tapped her foot on the ground and looked around. Emerald green optics landed on a chair not too far away from her, and she stepped back from relief and surprisingly- horror. True, the chair would give her the needed leverage to reach the book, but could her pride really handle using a chair because she wasn't tall enough to reach it?
Certainly not!
But as they say, desperate times call for desperate measures.
Index looked around in desperation, hoping that there was no one nearby (or more specifically- a classmate of hers) who'd witness the embarrassing spectacle she was to object herself to. After a few seconds of searching, her lips curved into a satisfied smile. There was not much people around, and the few who were there were not the least bit interested in what she was about to do.
Just as the nun was about to inch closer to the chair however, a hand reached out to claim her book for him(?)self. A protest was imminent, but she swallowed it back up her throat at the friendly greeting which followed after.
"Is this the one?"
Surprise was evident in her eyes as she slowly took the book from him with a blank look. She blinked, then canted her head. "...ah yeah. Thanks." The blunette offered him a friendly smile after, thinking how lucky it was that such a gentleman would arrive and offer her help. Thanks to him, her dilemma was solved without any problems!
His playful chide irritated her, but appreciation for his good deed didn't make her flare up as it normally should. "That wouldn't work. I need this book. Badly. The librarian told me there weren't any copies of the handbook lying around other than this. All the others were already checked out."

"Ah. That voice is..."
The familiar troubled tone caused the distressed nun to do a double take. She did not desist with her pulling on his leg, although her grip on his ankle loosened somewhat. Emerald optics lazily moved upwards from his torso and to his face. Once her eyes reached his face, relief and cheer seeped in through her features upon seeing the familiar face.
"Hey there! Nice to see you again, generous hamburger-buying albino!"
Of course, that just had to be the name she graced with him with. This was more than likely irritating as it wasn't even complemented with jest. Granted, it would probably be more irritating if it was coupled with such but...
An eyebrow raised at his superfluous description. She did not respond right away, eyes only narrowing for a fraction of a second before they widen in realization. For one of her intelligence, it didn't take long for the Library of Forbidden Grimoires to understand.
"Huh?! You mean Touma isn't here? That's strange...there was a message sent to me that he was planning on transferring here so I-"
She trailed off, only just realizing how naive she must sound to run off on her own for the sake of one simple message. Then again, she had always been a tad reckless when it came to Touma. Add to that the fact that he can be quite unpredictable in his own right and well - you can't really blame her for this can you?
"Touma's been missing for awhile now. I'm guessing he hasn't contacted you either?"

[Getting by without bothering anyone or being bothered by anyone was how Accelerator’s daily life usually went. That was under normal circumstances but today, fate had other plans for the albino.
Going to get something to eat straight at the cabin was always a hassle because there were people all around so it was usually easier to just buy something he could heat through microwaves at his hotel room and eat in a few minutes and that was his plan: Get something he could prepare quickly and fast like instant noodles. His plan was simple, yet it was interrupted before it could even start by something getting stuck on his pant. The boy was ready to yank his leg free and see what had gotten his leg when a somewhat familiar voice reached his ears.]
Tch. Things just had to get troublesome.
[He looked downwards and spotted a girl wearing that nun’s habit still being held by pins all over. How long had it been since he met this girl? He couldn’t really remember how long was that.]
Does this mean that that guy is here too?
[Of course he meant Touma by that.]

o5. ᴅéᴊà ᴠᴜ
A deepset frown marred a certain petite nun's angelic features as she strode out the doors of the academy's main building. Small knuckles turn white with indignation as pink lips pressed together to form a thin line. Even those willfully oblivious could recognize that she, Index Librorum Prohibitorum - is simply not in the best of moods today.
-and why would she not be? After unfortunate encounters involving the school handbook, a machine eating all her quarters and nearly being stepped on (because she was too short to be noticed and was lying face down on the floor for not reason at all. Not that she decided to dwell on that fact).
To add it all up, she was hungry, and was plain exhausted from having to run around the academy dodging and hiding from the rampaging Hall Monitors who were having a field day chasing her for wearing her habit on campus grounds.
"Meh-"
Mouth set in a pout, she glowered at no one in particular as the petite nun settled on making herself comfortable on the cold, hard cement. Hard task to take really, but with the stubborn Index it might just work. Why is she doing this you ask?
Surprisingly it helps her think she says.
"...I'm hungry."

o4. a certain ιηdєχ meets another ωιzαяd
A certain holder of 103,000 grimoires hummed to herself happily as she pored over the hundreds of books on magic the school library had to offer. A part of her had to wonder why an ordinary looking school devoid of professors and staff accomplished in the art would have such dangerous grimoires lined up in their shelves.
She shifts her gaze towards the unsuspecting, dowdy librarian and sighs deeply. The petite nun could not believe how lenient the security in this academy would be when it came to the grimoires, yet oh so fussy when it came to the least pressing matters to be taken care of - namely, her choice of wearing her habit instead of the school uniform.
"Well...seeing as how all these grimoires are written in an ancient language or in some kind of symbolic monoscript I gather there's no one here who'd be capable of decrypting this. So I guess...its fine?"
The blunette tapped her fingers against the table at intervals, pondering on that one thought. A few seconds pass before her shoulders shrug to no one particular, and she goes back to reading listlessly. To those watching Index read as of the moment, she looked very serene and innocent - reminiscent of an angel.
For all her innocence however, the petite nun was not to be taken lightly. Emerald optics narrow as they sense a certain someone's gaze on her. She turns to the offender, canting her head in question without a hint of malice.
"Yes..?"

o3. ʜᴇɪɢʜᴛ ᴅᴏᴇsɴ'ᴛ ᴍᴀᴛᴛᴇʀ! d̶o̶e̶s̶ ̶i̶t̶?̶
The petite blunette found out the hard way that wearing her habit and not the school uniform on campus grounds had unfortunate consequences, and yet, her stubborn nature dared not give in to the high stakes laid out before her.
She could not see what the problem was with her choice of attire really. If the principal thinks that upholding school rules was of utmost importance then he should realize that upholding the rules of the Church was of utmost importance to her as a nun. While Index is his student, she is first and foremost - a child of God.
This belief is what lead her to the library - to search for a book which could offer her a possible loophole to let her wear her habit whenever and wherever she wants. "Let's see...the student handbook should be around here somewhere..."
A gasp escapes her lips as emerald green optics caught sight of a flashy hardbound book with the school insignia embossed on the spine. "Ah there it is!" She strode closer to the bookshelf and reached out for the book. "Oh."
There lay the greatest dilemma she, Index Librorum Prohibitorum faces as of the moment. That shameful, awkward moment when one realizes that despite being of high school age already, she cannot reach for a simple book without enlisting the help of another. Like a child.
She huffed and crossed her arms across her chest. It would seem that there's no choice but to call for help -
- never.
Vowing to be undeterred by this setback, Index stood on tiptoes and tried to reach for the book on her own. "G-Guh...almost...there!"

o2. ⓡⓔ - enactment
Perplexed emerald orbs stare at the contraption in front of them. A huff is heard as small fists pound against its sturdy form. The cacophony of her shrill voice making a fuss and the battering of skin against metal reverberated through the silent hallway.
Yet she seemed oblivious to the racket that she was making.
Thankfully, the petite nun stops short of her rampage as a stinging pain shoots up from her hands and up her arms. "No good huh...?" She hid her already red fists by shoving them to her habit's pockets. "Oh geez why did this machine eat all my quarters?!"
It would seem as if she, Index Librorum Prohibitorum had acquired Touma Kamijou's infamous bad luck. Not only was she chased around campus for wearing a nun's habit instead of the uniform, this quarter eating machine disobeyed her command and refused to give her a can of soda.
The normally calm (according to her anyway) Index could feel her temper nearing its explosive peak. "Argh! Cough up my soda already!" Without thinking much of the consequences, she kicked the machine with all her might.
...and lo and behold, a soda can popped out.
"So that's why it won't come out. Looks like you have to kick it first." Thus, another misunderstanding of how modern day apparatus work in today's society is created thanks to a faulty vending machine. A smile forms on her face as another soda can popped out after the first one. "Oh and look! Two for the price of one? Lucky!"
Happiness at her good fortune faded as quickly as it came when the petite blunette realized that the torrent of soda cans coming out of the machine was not stopping.
"T-this isn't normal is it?"

o1. ωнєη science αηd magic ¢σℓℓι∂є...
"Ugh...so...hungry...I'm...starving...!"
Long locks the color of the sky hidden underneath a pure white veil swayed from left tor right as its owner staggered against the weight of her religious habit, the scalding heat and the hunger she felt. It didn't help matters that she had spent most of her time running around trying to escape from the Hall Monitors who admonished her for not wearing the school uniform.
She didn't understand why they- for the love of her could not comprehend that she, Index Librorum Prohibitorum, is a lamb of God - a daughter of God. To not wear this magical habit is a sin itself. She must not sin against Him, for she is pure and untainted. While Index does understand that conforming to the rules is a must for society, the rules put forth by the Church comes first. Everything else comes second.
"Ah...its no use."
The poor nun fell down on the ground. A sigh escaped her lips as she felt the cold, hard ground beneath her. Some students passed by giving her strange looks. None of them stopped to help though. They were whispering about Monokuma probably punishing her or something but she was not able to hear all snippets of the conversation.
Not that she cared to hear about it in the first place anyway. Her irritation already at its highest peak, Index reached out a hand and grabbed the ankle of the closest person who passed on by, not caring if they got off balance or not.
"I'm hungry."
