In honor of day 6 of Zosan week (Proposal) I am sharing my old Zosan proposal fic 💚💛

Summary:

“We should get married.”

Sanji chokes loudly, hurtling into a coughing fit that brings tears to his eyes. “What?” He sits up fully and faces Zoro, eyes wide in horror.

Zoro’s expression does not change. He continues like what he’s saying is the most obvious thing in the world. “I want to marry you. So let’s do it.”

In which Sanji has the perfect plan to propose to Zoro, until the swordsman manages to derail everything in an instant.

At around 60 years old, Zosan revert to yelling at each other again, just like they used to when they were decades younger. Although this time, it’s purely due to hearing issues that it starts back up. Even so, there’s an undeniable air of nostalgia about it. The other Straw Hats feel it too when they visit. Those really were simpler times.

Zosan fic wip! Warning: very silly

There were only five beds available for the nine Straw Hats. Usopp and Luffy fall asleep together after exchanging stories, Chopper and Brook settle in together, Nami and Robin gladly share their own space, and Franky, being larger than the rest, gets his own bed. That means there was only one bed left. And as fate would have it, Zoro and Sanji were the two pirates who remained.

Zoro strongly considers sleeping on the floor. He’d rather his swords have the cushion of the mattress, anyway. But he decided it would probably be impolite to refuse the bed that their hosts offered. With that, he settled into the mattress, holding his swords tight to his chest. He turns on his side and comes face to face with the cook, who is visibly dissatisfied with the arrangement. Before he can comment on it, the cook speaks up.

“Are the swords really necessary?”

“Yes.”

The blond huffs. “Dumb marimo.”

And as much as Zoro wanted to react outwardly in response, he couldn’t risk waking the crew. With that, he gives a light kick to the cook’s shin. The aforementioned cook, known for his kicks, returns one of his own. And with that, a kicking battle (could also be considered “footsies”) begins. The grunts between the two men and the shuffling of bedsheets definitely gave off its own impression, one that would embarrass the two greatly the next morning after receiving a knowing wink from Robin.
