The idea of robots transforming is cool but it’s so dorky that they’re vehicles. Robots transforming into dinosaurs? That sounds awesome! Cars? This feels convoluted. Like, how come human cars look just like what the Transformers can change into? Also Optimus looks naked if it’s just the front part and he doesn’t have the trailer. 16 wheelers in real life also look naked if they don’t have a trailer. Put on some pants, Optimus.

Ok so my friends are showing me Transformers Prime and it's cute, but also I cannot fucking take it seriously when they turn into cars. Yes, I get it. That's the gimmick with Transformers. Optimus Prime is going to turn into a truck now. He's a truck. That robot is a guy and also a truck. But also it's so stupid and it takes me right out of the action. "Oh wow alien robots and their friendship with some humans!" And now he's a truck and I'm taken out of the immersion. This is stupid and dumb and I felt the same way when watching Transformers One. Why do the alien robots turn into cars? Why do they need cars if they can't go in them? This is stupid. I am going to turn into a truck now. Bye.
