The Anne Frank Throw Pillow comment is so out of pocket. Genuinely one of the funniest comparisons I’ve ever read.

The one possible piece of criticism I could agree with is that the pill bottles seem a bit iffy, since it could potentially allude to her suicide, but at the same time, they could just be the pills she and Jimmy have been giving Curly.

The fact that he brings up the fucking Anne Frank Throw Pillow shit before even thinking about the pill bottle just proves that this guy is trying to look for something to get mad at.

And way for this guy to miss the point of the game! Anya is more than her victimhood! The story is told in an ambiguously non-chronological order, as well as being filtered through Curly and Jimmy's biased eyes, so the average player is only seeing her as they see her, unless you go out of your way to pick up context clues about her as a character.

I played the game twice in one week and there were so many little things about her to pick up on. The bit about her and Daisuke being very competitive with each other in regards to board games is such a cute little detail!

I just wanna say as an HB/HH fan myself, I’m really sorry for the shit you’ve had flung at you by our fandom’s nastier side. It boggles my mind that these people think harassing anyone who dislikes the shows will actually improve their perception of Spindlehorse’s work. I don’t exactly think the shows are perfect myself, but I love the soul behind them and it kinda gets to me how so many fans miss the point of that soul and act like utter pricks over it.

There's no need for you to apologize, you didn't do anything. I appreciate the kind words. 💜 I respect and ache for the kind and sweet fans of the show because you guys don't deserve being associated with jerks.

I really wish I liked the show because I wanted to so badly! I wouldn't have made the video if I didn't have strong and passionate feelings about it! And I am glad people like it! Just because I don't like something doesn't mean others aren't allowed to like it, y'know?

I'm not that impacted by the words that the HH/HB fans have slung at me because it turns into humor at a certain point. I admittedly have gotten off very easily, while other creators and critics have gone through hell and back (no pun intended). I believe I've gotten off easily because the nasty responses just stay in my YouTube comments section. I don't go on Twitter other than to post my art there, and the absolute worst parts of the HH/HB fandom fester on Twitter.

The creator of the show definitely cultivates a toxic fanbase. There is so much evidence of her being nasty or pointing her followers towards critics by liking someone else's tweets of responding to critics in a nasty way. It's rotten all the way down.

Anya was literally able to keep Curly alive for MONTHS after the crash off of nothing but bandages and painkillers, lady’s workin MIRACLES out here despite supposedly flunking proper medical school, but yeah let’s just focus on what Jimmy did to her as the only aspect of her character worth mentioning

Not to mention how Anya has a sense of humor! She teases Swansea about his love of cake and enjoys the surprise party. She's competitive in board games with Daisuke and there are many hints that the two of them have a good friendship! She's more than what Jimmy did to her!

Mouthwashing fans, stop consuming the game only through fan art and actually play the game!!

People are so gross about Anya and act like you can't like her or think she's cute or something because she's a victim of sexual assault. It reminds me of the gross "damaged goods" mentality that some assholes have towards people who have been SA'd, but with a failed attempt to be progressive or something.

His entire arc is just a freaking MASTERPIECE plus I love forge masters, the magic and stuff is really interesting in my opinion, also I like Isaac cause he literally killed a vampire and physically choked him (godbrand), he's so badass he literally made Carmilla ragequit lmao

Isaac as well! He, Dracula, and Sypha are the best written characters in the show! His whole character arc was wonderful. I love his chat with Fly Eyes in Season 3. I could watch a whole series just focused entirely on Isaac and his monster adventures. He’s perfect, and he’s so damn handsome.

I don’t care for Hector that much unless it’s in the context of his relationship with Isaac. Anyway I wished they kissed like monks.

I haven't watched Nocturne. I'm honestly not interested in it. What hooked me in the original series was the dynamics between Trevor, Sypha, and Alucard. Without two of the three there, the appeal is lost.

Also why'd they take Alucard off of testosterone in Nocturne smh my head they made him detransition 😔
