@portraitofmaisha  I found your images interesting. They show the beauty within nature and are very calming to look at. As you’ve mentioned in your class presentation, your image signifies the repeating cycle of life. By looking at them, it does convey that message. The different ranges of gray and the concentration of whiteness within the sky also add mysticism to your photos and could also signify a clean slate. This clean slate could mean new experiences, such as becoming a young adult from a teen and transitioning to old age from a mature adult. Your images are not too sharp and have good clarity, which makes them look as if they are paintings. I really enjoy your images. Good job!

✨Project description✨

The name of my project, "Groups ", describes the primary contents that will be captured in my photography. The name of this project was inspired by Massimo Vitali, the photographer I originally selected. He frequently photographs busy recreation areas where plenty of people are interacting. My ideal venues are those where there are large gatherings of people, whether they are conversing or not. The group dynamics and the addition of my own ingenuity to create photographs that best reflect my style are the aspects of his work that I will be using in my project. My project's concept and subject are human interaction. I intend to take pictures that fall under the modern art, nature, and documentary categories. Capturing groups of individuals is my major objective for this project.

🪺Outcomes🪺

My goal in this project is to create a maximum of 9 pictures with plenty of people in them. I will be making my photographs 11 by 16 because they will be printed. As it relates to editing, I will be utilizing three-point color adjustments in Photoshop to modify each of my nine shots. The places I will be shooting includes a theater, a grocery store, Times Square, and parks. In order to be able to generate quality photographs even if one location doesn't pan out, my goal is to not restrict myself to a single location but to plan for many other locations.

🍂Methods & materials🍂

My camera and tripod will be the major tools I use. I'll go far away from the subjects, timing the photographs, and attempt to use the lighting well for clear pictures as my shooting techniques. I would like to capture at least one motion blur shot as I will be photographing people.

The photographer I find enjoyable is Massimo Vitali. His work is predominantly beach photography, which highlights masses of people congregating and interacting. I admire his work because of its minimal and unique aesthetic. Based on his photos, he understands lighting and how to manipulate it for a striking image. Lighting is very important for landscape photos, and Vitali does an amazing job of incorporating it into all of his shots. There is beauty in nature, and Vitali has mastered the art of capturing it.~Assignment 1🐬🌺
