Gordon Freeman, Link, and Optimus Prime. We’re a-ok over here.
I’m facing the apocalypse with The Rock, Ezio Auditore, and Darrell Hammond. I’ll take it.
You?

Say what you will about it being a health hazard of apocalyptic magnitude, but I love the little art on the cans of Major Melon Mountain Dew.

back when SpiderVerse came out, I saw so many tweets about people being thirsty for Doc Ock that utterly befuddled me before I actually saw the movie and found out she became an unhinged lesbian milf, at which point, i totally got it.
in unrelated news, I haven’t started playing TOTK yet

“Link is the player’s connection to the game world” is not the same as “Link should be the direct avatar of the player” and I’m tired of people acting like it is.
Doomguy has about the same level of character as Link. Actually, he has *less*, and I still don’t see as many posts about him as I do “Nintendo, pls make Link the new Commander Shepard!” posts.
It’s just- people seem to be actively ignoring how Nintendo seems intent to make Link his own, true character now, what with his diary entries in Japan, his expanded backstory, and the removal of the ability to change his damn name.
..though, going back to Commander Shepard, if they ever give Link an english voice, I will one-hundred percent be down for Mark Meer.

Tears of the Kingdom was great, but i still can’t get over the fact how the game lowkey implies that Hudson stole Bolson’s company out from under him, left the other guy to rot, and no one’s talking about it.
